Thanks for making this video. I've been waiting for an english vid about the new RC8X before deciding between this or the Noble NB4. Goodluck with the channel!
I feel the same about the high end Futaba and Sanwa radios they too pricy for me to justify it. But this new RC8X i'm in love with and i will definitely buy one next month when i have enough money for it. I plan to buy this new radio to replace my 4PM for most of my cars except my race cars i originally consider a DX5C but didn't like the looks of it that much and this Radiolink looks beautiful can't wait to get mine. Hope to see you run yours in your Limitless i might get a Limitless or Infraction V2 someday as well but currently i'm building an XO-1 roller.
It's definitely worth the money. I'm still finding new options etc everyday. Not had a chance to run the Limitess yet. I only get weekends free and the weather hasn't been brilliant. I do plan to do a range test soon hopefully. I am on leave over the xmas holiday so will try and get that done using my Mojave in the park. I need a fairly large space to do the test and the local park is 2 miles long but grass so Mojave is the best option for that. Look out for the video.
Nice vid man, been looking to see if this transmitter will be better than the flysky noble nb4 for speed runs. The nb4 also is pretty premium and is cheaper but out the box the rc8x may have better range. If making yt vids are for you, you'll find out soon enough as you do a few more. Look forward to seeing some passes with the limitless 👊🏾
British weather currently a bit rubbish. But I do plan to do a range test as soon as I can. Speaking to Radiolink they have said it’s the same range as the RC6GS which many speed runners use. 600m
Just compared both manuals for RC8X and RC6GS. The range listed in both manuals is identical. Safe to say it’s just as good as the older RC6GS. Only better with many more options and a great touchscreen instead of that fiddly menu system of the RC6GS. 👍🏻👊🏻
About the RC6GS, if it's any help, you can bind one receiver per profile if you want. Once you have selected the profile you want. Select "22. ID Seed", and turn it on. Then select a Seed ID(I bind one receiver per ID). Now you just bind the receiver and transmitter. Ever time you select a profile with your Seed ID set, you only control the cars added to that ID(In my case, one profile, one car).
I love the Rc8x on many way , but the key is "latency" , for now , rare transmitter latency comparison on youtube, will you make a video with this topic?
Hey. I’m gonna be doing a range test pretty soon. Weather in uk is terrible. I only get weekends free and guaranteed it’s raining. I only have rc6gs and a few others to compare to. Nothing high end. But we’ll see what the range test fairs out. Try and do it soon.
@@Soney_Manic that's awesome!! Awaiting your new video, the Rc8x has a far better interface and feature set than the NB4, but in comparison to other transmitter, the NB4 has a considerably faster response time. Actually, I don't think Rc8x is on par with the futaba/sanwo top model; it's a little below NB4 but close enough for my touring car play. I've had my 3PK for 14 years; perhaps it's time to enter the Hall of Fame.
@@user-zs4iv3vf5m will get it done soon as I can. I use my RC8X for speed runs. It’s been great so far. NB4 unfortunately just doesn’t have that range. Now speaking to Radiolink they’ve said the RC8X has the same range as the RC6GS which is around 600 meters. This of course needs testing which I hope to do. NB4 I believe is around 300 meters as standard. Plus with both Radiolinks it can be extended to over 1600 with the range extender.
Hi. You can turn the d/r down on this controller too. It’s the button on the right of the steering wheel. I use it all the time. And it’s conveniently placed. My other video has a link to the instruction manual if that helps. Let me know how you get on.
Im actually considering picking this up at some time next year. If you have the budget for it, do you think you could compare this to a 7 or 10 px, or qn m17? The build seems pretty similar.
It’s on offer today!!! As for comparing to a Futaba. No it’s not a Futaba. And it’s not to the same level. But, for the price. It’s definitely better than say Flysky or Sanwa. I couldn’t justify paying for a Futaba. I’m not a professional racer etc. I did go to my local hobby shop to check both the Futabas out. I’m very happy with my choice. Radiolink for me. You won’t be disappointed.

There are not many videos of RC8X here, thank you for your detailed sharing.
You did a fantastic job on your video! Thanks for doing it on the new Radiolink. I have been curious about this. Subscribed!
"Welcome to radiolink" that was funny. Great review and thanks👍
Glad you enjoyed both the video and the humour. 😂

Thanks Greg. Range is same as the Radiolink rc6gs, which I never had an issue with. And there is the option of fitting the extender.
The biggest question for me is, does it have the great range that RadioLink is known for?
Hello. Yep. I understand. The range is the same as the current rc6gs, 600 meters. I hope to do an official range test video soon.
I would like to know also know this..??😬

@@Soney_Manic ok cool deff interested in this because if its the same range im getting one 2👊.

That’s great. Thanks for explaining. That will help people out there looking to move to Radiolink.
Hello, sir. RC8X has the same function. It is called Child ID in RC8X.
@@Radiolink_official Thanks guys. That will definitely help loads of users out there. 👍🏻👍🏻
@@Soney_Manic Our pleasure. And thank you for your support.

What is the model of Formula 1 on video?
Hey. Which model you referring to?
@@Soney_Manic Yellow Formula with "Camel" )
Aha I see. That is a Arrma Limitless. Which I painted in the Camel colour scheme.
I need ine to run the 30+ trucks i have
That's a lot of trucks. 🙂According to the manual, it can store maximum of 200 pieces model parameters saved, Page 7 of the manual.
Oh no not follow kevin talbot that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!👎
