I'm very happy watching the use of Atemi Waza during this Tanto Dori demostratio. Even following the way peace and never looking for fighting. We must thinking about this aspect of Aikido: Atemi Waza. I had the chance starting Aikido with a young instructor who always taught us to use Atemi with every tecnique. Later on I could continuing this line of work, living in Belgium with my late Sensei. He always told us that in case of Self Defence confrontations we had yo be prepared to impose Peace trough the path of defending our own integrity, our family and friends, weak human beings in danger. Justice, Honor and Truth. Keeping in mind self control. Never to brawl and always for Peace. Atemi Waza it's another part of Aikido as Nage Waza and Katame Waza are.
