She's good but I can name quite a few female singers that are great. Floor Jansen (Nightwish), Melissa Bonny (Ad Infinitum), Asami (Lovebites), Simone Simon (Epica), Amy Lee (Evanescence), Clementine (Visions of Atlantis)
@@lw3918 I agree with you that Floor might just be the finest female vocalist on the planet. But all of these rankings are not objective; I think Lzzy is a fabulous vocalist.
Lzzy Hale (the lead singer) and Arejay (the drummer and her little brother) were told by their high school music teacher to get their heads out of the clouds. When they got home dejected and told their father (Roger Hale) he got angry, called the school and said they'd not be returning, and then homeschooled them. It makes me so angry to think how many great artists we might have lost because they didn't have a father like Roger Hale when a bad teacher crushed their dreams.
Rock Show, Amen, I Get Off, I Am the Fire... All bangers. Then you have stuff like Familiar Taste of Poison, Shatter Me and Break In with Amy Lee that shows what else she can do.
Ugh... the official music video is much better, imo. It's much cleaner, and her vocals sound better. It's a fun video too, with her brother kicking the symbols, and all that stuff.
Are you familiar with this one? She did a really cool collab with a band called Adrenaline Mob (drummer is Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater) covering a Duran Duran song "Come Undone". ruclips.net/video/Umcr1iDXqzY/видео.html
My favorite Halestorm song. Lzzy Hale is certainly a great singer. Lzzy gifted her Gibson guitar to Dani of rhe Warning on stage. A pay it forward moment.
The Warning were touring with Halestorm and in the middle of their set, Lizzy came out and gave Dani a guitar that looked like Lizzy's but was made especially for her. Then told her to pay it forward.
Love Bites (So Do I) is the song that won a Grammy in 2013 for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance. The video is great, but I recommend you check out the live studio version. I first became aware of Halestorm in 2007 when I saw them in concert supporting Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold. I became an insta-fan and fell in love with Lzzy Hale's vocal ability. She is a rock goddess.
Yes, they were the first female fronted band ever in the rock/metal category to win a Grammy. This is a major rabbit hole of great songs. There's a reason Halestorm and The Warning are friends and have toured together multiple times.
Great choice! Got us some neo-classic style. I've seen them twice in the past 12 years, and they ROCK live! Lots more great songs from Halestorm, don't stop here.
Very special band for me. Been listening to them since 2007 before they even released their first album, then saw them open for Shiendown when no one knew who they were and they amped everyone up by the second song, seen then twice more since then. Lzzy is no joke, I think she's one vocalist that's held back in album tracks, the editing doesn't do her justice...the things that woman can do with her voice in a live performance are mindblowing.
She and the band used to be from Pennsylvania, so they played in New Jersey a lot. She'd show up to our local rock station for interviews anytime they played here. Powerful vocals and all-around nice person.
Lzzy is awesome. She sounds as good live as she does in studio. Top five of female vocalists in rock. Mrs Hyde, I Get Off, and my favorite, The Familar Taste of Poison...which live is just......divine.
Absolutely love Halestorm. In addition to the band, Lzzy has performed duets with a number of other artists including Amy Lee, Eric Church, David Draiman,Lindsey Stirling and took the lead for Skid Row for a time. This January she and the lead guitarist Joe are doing a series of stripped down, acoustic shows. I was able to get seats for one of them and cannot wait!!!
Lzzy Hale is the Goddess of Rock in the 21st century, since their debut in 2009. Halestorm is my favorite Rock Band this century, do I Miss the Misery live where it often becomes an extended, hard hitting jam. Great band, please do more! Enjoy. 🔥🎵🎸🎤
You need to watch her collab with The Hu! Song of Women. The Hu are a Mongolian throat singing band that play native instruments but are hard rock. It will blow you away!
I saw halestorm live on my birthday a few years ago and lzzy gave me her guitar pick you should totally react to the song here's to us! A different vibe but such a great message.
This was the first song I heard from them and it knocked my socks off as a rocker from the 70's in my 50's ten years ago. She reminds me of Joan Jett in some ways. They do a good rock'n cover of The Beatles I Want You from the Abbey Road album.
“Familiar Taste of Poison” performed live by Halestorm, on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, just might be the best performance I’ve ever seen on a late night show.
Loved the reaction! Lzzy is such a powerhouse. The song "I get off" live from Wembley is one of the best vocal performances I've ever seen, would love to see you check it out!
I know what there's a suggestion to check out Love bites by her he's got a lot of great songs she also did a I can't remember the name of it but she did a duet with Amy Lee of evanescence that was real good
I was already a Halestorm devotee a decade ago when I first heard The Pretty Reckless or In This Moment. Guess I've got a thing for music from rock chicks. Are we ready for more female rockers on the channel?🔥🔥🔥
Lzzy can howl like no other! I highly recommend "Love Bites (So Do I)", and "I Get Off".
Love Bites (So do I) the song the band Lovebites named themselves after.
"Rock Show" is great too
I truly believe Lzzy is the best current female rock vocalists currently out there. The girl can sing anything. Absolute great talent.
She's great but she's no Floor Jansen, Simone Simon's, Elize Ryd, or Alyssa White-Gluz.
She's good but I can name quite a few female singers that are great. Floor Jansen (Nightwish), Melissa Bonny (Ad Infinitum), Asami (Lovebites), Simone Simon (Epica), Amy Lee (Evanescence), Clementine (Visions of Atlantis)
She's certainly up there with all the other singers in the replies; I'm thinking that people who don't agree haven't heard enough of her.
@roadkill7314 Look, no one is on the same level as Floor. Simone is very close though.
@@lw3918 I agree with you that Floor might just be the finest female vocalist on the planet. But all of these rankings are not objective; I think Lzzy is a fabulous vocalist.
Yes!! LZZY!! Huge amazing library of great songs/videos. ❤
Lzzy Hale (the lead singer) and Arejay (the drummer and her little brother) were told by their high school music teacher to get their heads out of the clouds. It makes me so angry to think how many great artists we might have lost because they didn't have a father like Roger Hale when a bad teacher crushed their dreams.
I freaking love Lizzy and Halestorm whether its "I miss the misery" Love Bites" Daughters of Darkness" etc They have never put out a bad song 💗💯
Rock Show, Amen, I Get Off, I Am the Fire... All bangers. Then you have stuff like Familiar Taste of Poison, Shatter Me and Break In with Amy Lee that shows what else she can do.
You guys need to check out their song Love Bites ( but so do I) from live in the Live Room her vocals will blow you away
I second this. Live Room vocals for this song are unreal.
Ugh... the official music video is much better, imo. It's much cleaner, and her vocals sound better. It's a fun video too, with her brother kicking the symbols, and all that stuff.
Lzzy is sought after for collaborations. She has sung with Amy Lee, the Hu, Keith Urban, Native Howl, Daughtry, Lindsey Stirling and others.
Are you familiar with this one? She did a really cool collab with a band called Adrenaline Mob (drummer is Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater) covering a Duran Duran song "Come Undone".

My favorite Halestorm song. Lzzy Hale is certainly a great singer. Lzzy gifted her Gibson guitar to Dani of rhe Warning on stage. A pay it forward moment.
I was at that show they shot the video in. Machine Shop in Flint MI. Awesome bar, awesome show
The Warning were touring with Halestorm and in the middle of their set, Lizzy came out and gave Dani a guitar that looked like Lizzy's but was made especially for her. Then told her to pay it forward.

The song that the band Lovebites named themselves after. If you like Avenged Sevenfold you'd like Lovebites
Great reaction guys! A great Halestorm song that rocks id Back from the Dead!

About time. Now do Arch Enemy "Handshake With Hell"
Great choice! Got us some neo-classic style. I've seen them twice in the past 12 years, and they ROCK live! Lots more great songs from Halestorm, don't stop here.
Lizzy Hales vocal coach was Steve Whitman from KIX🤘
Lizzy is Badass

Lzzy is an amazing vocalist. You should check out her duet with Amy Lee called Break In. Their voices are magic together.
LIZZY HALE does a duet w/ AMY LEE (EVANESCANCE) called BREAK IN that is amazballz
Im glad y'all checked this one out Lizzy Hale has one Hale of a voice lol
Another great one is I am the fire
I saw them once in San Antonio. Great show.
Lzzy is awesome. She sounds as good live as she does in studio. Top five of female vocalists in rock. Mrs Hyde, I Get Off, and my favorite, The Familar Taste of Poison...which live is just......divine.

Her duet with Daughtry on separate ways is fire. I love her voice.
They are amazing live. We saw them a few weeks ago...finally...after 1st discovering the band in 2009. They kick some serious ass.
Lzzy Hale is the Goddess of Rock in the 21st century, since their debut in 2009. Halestorm is my favorite Rock Band this century, do I Miss the Misery live where it often becomes an extended, hard hitting jam. Great band, please do more! Enjoy. 🔥🎵🎸🎤
Seen them twice great show. Great singer. Dear daughter is a good song for a change of pace
LZZY filled in on vocals for a few Skid Row shows
Erm... you mean Skid Row ;)
@@gregmason2434 lol, that was a funny slip up :)
(He had originally said "Skid Rock")
LZZY is fire. My favorite song by them is I Like It Heavy
Check out the live acoustic version of this....just her and guitar player....KILLER!
You need to watch her collab with The Hu! Song of Women. The Hu are a Mongolian throat singing band that play native instruments but are hard rock. It will blow you away!
To really show the range and quality of her voice I love her acoustic cover of Girl Crush by little big town but everything she does is fantastic
I saw halestorm live on my birthday a few years ago and lzzy gave me her guitar pick you should totally react to the song here's to us! A different vibe but such a great message.

Please react to Halestorm with Amy Lee and the song Break in.
Y'all should hear Lzzy and Dave Draiman (Disturbed), covering the Ozzy Osbourne/Lita Ford classic, "Close My Eyes Forever".
Would you react to "Little Hercules" by Trusha Yearwood.
Live studio version of Love Bites (So Do I). For whatever "trust me bro" from a rando on the internet is worth, trust me bro
You should react to The Pretty Reckless Heaven Knows.
I was already a Halestorm devotee a decade ago when I first heard The Pretty Reckless or In This Moment. Guess I've got a thing for music from rock chicks. Are we ready for more female rockers on the channel?🔥🔥🔥
