HP looks like it has a winner here with the HP E45C G5 DQHD Monitor for those content creators that like a huge monitor and at $1099 for all you get, it’s a great accessory to have in your computer arsenal. This is a definite go and will be enjoyed by anyone that’s lucky enough to own it. Excellent review Andrew!!
I recently purchased the HP E32k G5 4K USB-C Monitor, which is essentially the 32-inch version of this monitor. I am very happy with it and it has 4k resolution vs the DQHD on the 45c. It also does not support HDR which is a bit disappointing but otherwise, I am very happy with it. I haven't been able to find any reviews on it.
I'm still thrilled with my 5K2K monitor Dell UltraSharp 40 U4021QW (100% sRGB (Delta E < 2), 100% Rec. 709, 98% DCI-P3) from 2021 and that has Thunderbolt 3 support and 2x9w speakers. However, no higher refresh rate and the ports are hard to reach. A built-in web cam and Wireless charging for phones would be nice.
Hp really be killing it with the Elitedisplay G5. Waiting for one with built in webcam and speakerphone. Currently I use a Hp E24m G4 at home and at work a dell P2422HE
All the ultrawide monitors i have researched about are specifically built for gaming, for me that I don't intend to use this monitor for gaming at all, I find it difficult to get an ultrawide monitor for work (excel, word document etc) since I've been warned to avoid this gaming monitors due to burn-in issues if am using it for work, how does this HP monitor help my situation?
Hi Andrew. Great review. I'm not a gamer. I use programs with a lot of text and watch RUclips videos and some movie streaming. I have three questions: 1) How would you describe text on this monitor compared to other productivity monitors? (This is very important to me.) 2) What graphics card is needed to use this monitor's full potential? 3) How would you compare it to the DELL U4025QW?
Nice monitor. This is very good for those stock traders who need multiple screens for all kinds of trading. Great review. Can you believe we are in the second half of 2023? Where is this year going? Great review.
I might buy that monitor it looks awesome. Do you still have troubles with the hp envy 16? I recently bought it from bestbuy and i have seen a few people having issues with it. Idk if its worth keeping and if i should return it.
if I connect an xbox to this, will it show up in the middle of the pannel. Or will it only work on the left or right because the monitor is technically 2 monitors stuck together?

I like it. I am getting mine this month.

Hi! I'm looking to buy this monitor, was your question answered?

Yes time is flying
For this price it might make more sense to buy oled?
Where did you download HP Device Bridge 2.0 for macOS ? This is not available on HP support
NICE!! Ima have to run and get this

Dell and HP are the best for desktop monitors :) The higher end business/corporate class models especially. Always a better buy than consumer grade
At 4:30 minutes you set the "Virtual Display" to three screens. How does it work?
he did not split into 3 virual displays. taskbar is same for across the whole monitor at this point
This is one nice monitor! But I believe I can survive with my 32" 4K LG monitor for the time being :)

Hi Andrew, thank you for the review. Did you see any screw hole to mount 100 mm vesa bracket? Or it needs some kind of adapter?
It needs an adapter. It’s not VESA-compatible. I came to this video looking for instructions on how to install the adapter.
I think IPS is better than VA for viewing text
Is good for everything? Work, Programming, Content creation and gaming?
And what do you think if you compare it with HP 45B1U6900CH which is same size, same functionality with some extra feature like integrated CAM, etc
Very informative and the price point and ports make it a darn good value IMHO! How is the text scaling when used on the MAC?
Actually, was quite good as far as scaling on the mac. Had no issues.
My old Dell U3415W WQHD Ultrawide 34-inch is still pretty good. Only $200 on ebay now. Only diff is USB-C on the new monitor.
Only difference? The U3415W has 60Hz, no AdaptiveSync, no RJ45, etc...
Waiting for Dell inspiron 16 plus rtx 4060 review😂
"E45c G5 DQHD Curved Monitor".... which genius came up with the name?
Too bad it’s VA. I prefer IPS.
is this good monitor for an incel man?
Looks decent
