In Australia, we call 'strimmers' (string trimmers) either 'brushcutters' or 'line trimmers'... the Americans call them 'weed whackers' as that is a brand name that has become a generic term for the tool, like 'Hoover' has become a generic term for vacuum cleaners...

Well, it is going to look different at the end. That is an important type of job, someone knows they are falling behind and asked for help and you are tackling more than you normally would, to make it happen. It will be good for the resident, you and the neighborhood will as well. Watching you work, this is actually a Restoration. You are re-finding the design, pulling the weeds, cleaning and treating the paving and render/stucco. The planting beds in back really did need some extra care, glad you used your famed bush-manuever to get under and to things. 32:25 shows a lot of renewed color, form and change already. Wonderful work done, the home is distinctly improved in the Before and After photos.
Fantastic job Nick! I can’t believe how well that has come up. The block paving looks amazing. Almost new! I’m sure the householder was thrilled with the result - no wonder she has asked you to do repeat visits. Very hard work and a long day, but so worth it for that result xx

Hi Nick, what a huge job! That was a really long day, that, I hope, ended in the pub. 🍺❤ It looks fantastic, I really liked the little red bricked alcove in the back. After you beat mother nature into submission that area with the lavender turned out so pretty. Just an fyi, every gardener come spring all say the same thing omg my butt is killing me, 😂😂😂 It’s been so bad sitting and standing on day two can be challenging, lol but we do it again every year.

I have a question Nick that perhaps has already been asked. We live in New Hampshire and have winters like you do. I don’t know the severity of your winters because the times we have visited England it was Spring. How do your brick walkways and driveways not heave after a hard winter? We have very few driveways here that use cobblestone or brick because of that. Great show as always. Bruce
