It must have taken decades for all that stone to get so thoroughly grimy, which makes me wonder if the owner even remembered how gorgeous it was to begin with! Even so, the gardening has been kept up immaculately and now your excellent work has probably increased the value of that propery a great deal. Beautiful work!
It actually only takes a few years for it to get this bad in the uk as it’s the weather and she has lots of plants/Trees and lawned area with children walking dirt from the lawn etc
While I know you did not want to sand that patio and felt terrible charging her for something that was unnecessary, I am glad you did it. Sometimes, it gives them peace of mind. For whatever reason, it was something they needed. The best customer service. This job was remarkable. I was astounded by the difference. 😲 The only downside...it made the neighbor's driveway look even worse. 😬 Beautifully done all around, Nick. ❤ Thanks for sharing.
You were exactly right about the colors, it looks beautiful! Damn shame about your X jet, that's an awful lot to scrub by hand! Of course you cracked on, and the results are spectacular! Loved this Nick, take care of that cold. You are terrific! All the best to you and yours always, huge hugs all the way from Texas 😊
That is a beautifully cared for yard, makes sense they have extraordinary paving too. Liked the shimmer in the cleaned granite and the trick to make a neat edge, using a board. That was a WOW on color recovery. Very nicely done.
Those colors are simply gorgeous. Terrific job. And yes the things that kids bring home most often from school are colds. With three you get triple trouble - but they are worth every cold.
What a difference between the driveway of your client and the next door neighbours.!!! The colour change is dramatic. Sorry you're not well. Schools are like petrel dishes and kids love to share with Mom and Dad. Love the video, Cheers from the pacific northwest.
That one was a beauty, Nick! The grounds were so beautiful and manicured with absolute eyesores for the walkways and patios. You made them look like they belonged and made them picture perfect! I don't think the driveway was a mistake - it was a choice. I've done something similar (not a drive, though) where I chose a brick paver for color, but felt it had too much texture. It was for a couple of walks, a small front porch and a small courtyard and would have made the it stand out too much, making it the focal point of the house. By flipping it so the flat side was exposed, the eye just traveled over it making it a pretty accent instead. I was also worried about moss growing in those deep ("deep" being a relative term 😂) grooves since the house was on a very wooded lot and very shaded by large trees. Anyway, just tossing that out there as a possibility. I can't be the only crazy one! 🤪 Oh, also, I get that it's not usually done, but I do have to say the sanded sandstone actually looked nice! I wasn't expecting it to even show, but it actually did! Bravo to you for explaining to her that it's not a normal procedure and why you feel it's a waste of her money, but going ahead with her wishes when she insisted. BTW, your subtle dance moves didn't go unnoticed in the walkway! 🕺🏻 Have a wonderful week, Nick, and hope you're already feeling better!
So pretty! So love English gardens and all the beautiful stonework. How long does it take to get that dirty? Pressure washing is a great job for the UK.
Nice collection of materials used there and a great clean on them all. The patio looked stunning after your clean. I wonder if the block paving was fitted upside down to save sand 🙂
Wow what a difference, absolutely gorgeous Nick. As you said you don't see that stone that much, I don't think I've ever seen one quite as beautiful as that. You must feel so proud of an amazing job well done! Thanks, watching from New Zealand.
WOW Nick what a difference that was and how beautiful those colours were 😍 it will be 100% safer for her too now 😊 Well the driveway builders were really impressive weren't they (NOT) 🤦🤦🤦 I SO get you on the kids and colds. The favourite thing for my kids too do is bring that cold back the last day of school so everyone is ill and miserable for the school holidays 🤦🤦🤬
I have to laugh when I look at what you have done next to the neighbor's drive LOL Well done Nick that all looks lovely! You do amazing work kiddo ;) Hope the little ones have not given you another cold by the time you see this and you are feeling much better.
That bleach treatment being washed into the plant beds made made me wince not gonna lie.Edit: Never mind, you explained it in another video. As a gardening enthusiast I should have probably figured as much.
Looks great even before you did the chemical. Hopefully they will keep up with thew stone work now that they see how beautiful it is. Great job as usual.
Very nice stonework and you have bought it back to it's full glory... My theory on those front pavers being upside down is that they were lifted up and re-laid with the better surface up... just look at the pattern they are laid in... not a normal pattern, no overlaps... BTW, when the kids bring home germs from school, 4% Sodium Hypo in their bath, soak for half an hour, rinse well... LOL
Fantastic job Nick, looked absolutely stunning. The next door's driveway was really showing just how much it could do with a clean too! Hope you've shaken that cold by now, have a great week and thank you for the upload :)
Great job yet again Nick, one question I have ( not this video related ) you said a while ago you would do a video on how to make your SH foam up as well as it does, when you gonna do it?? I've been waiting ages for that one. lol😁👍
Hey Baz, nice one mate 👍. Yeah i've been meaning to get around to that for a while, someone else reminded me of it the other day too. I've got a terrible memory bud, but will defo try and get on within the next month or two 👍 (if i remember 🤣)
Good job. Looks beautiful. I question , is it possible to slow down the text? I can read english ofcouse but not so fast sorry . Greatings from the netherlands 😊
Welcome to parenting lol..I ALWAYS got sick in September when schools were in session. long enough that the “pea tree dish” started, and let the upper respiratory party begin! 😂 Luckily my boys are in their 20’s and the school days are over..lol 🎉🎉🎉😂
hi mate your one of the best at what you do just starting out myself in Glasgow can you tell me where you buy your hypo from and what strength do you usually put down thanks
Hi. I'm one of your subscribers. I love your scaffold tower. Could you please tell me where you bought it from and how much it cost. Thanks George Millar (GMDomesic, exterior cleaning by george)
Cheers bud. Normally only use the Mossy if i'm using the more powerful Briggs. I find the 21lpm Honda is okay with it, but just slightly underpowered. Love my 18" & 16" Whirlaways, my personal favourite for use with 21lpm machines 👍. Lol, yeah had a similar one last year with someone that wasn't very friendly, I said I didn't wanna do it, custy told me do it or lose the job. Me: 👋 seeya then.
Hey there :) Never heard of travertine before, really not my taste either, but everyone's different^^ Was it harder to resand the blocks with them upside down? The gaps seemed very small. Btw. do you have a knack for attracting 70+ year old customers? 😅 You have to move heavy stuff so often that I'm worried about your back :/
Hey Tatjana, no it didn't really feel any different sanding them when they were upside down 😄. 🤣 Yes you're right, I do. Most of my customers are semi retired or older. It's very kind of you to be concerned, but try not to be, if I don't think I can handle the weight, or my back's feeling weak that day, i always explain that to the customer, and they always understand (so far anyway 😄) 🥰
I've got a similar problem in the States. It's from years of mulch and planting - the new plants all have dirt, of course, and it just adds up every year plus new layers of mulch on top of older ones breaking down and suddenly the beds are taller than the walks.
One of the best results in your jobs.
아주 깔끔하고 멋집니다.

Another master piece by the Champ. 👍
Job satisfaction 💪
That’s the most colorful travertine I’ve ever seen 😍 and the garden looks like a magazine picture with the patio looking like new. Excellent job 👍🏼
Hey Randi, lovely garden wasn't it, extremely well landscaped ❤️
The dramatic music with the first travertine tile, wow! Good timing/mix.
What a difference a wash makes!😊
Like day and night awesome job and thanks for sharing 👍.
Wow, what a difference! Absolutely fabulous!
Excellent job, as usual!
Just beautiful stonework, another first class transformation!
Stunning Transformation!
Betchya these folks had guests over soon after for bbq. 😘

Love the ones with dramatic changes
What a delightful garden and yard!!! It really pops with your cleaning!!! Perfect!!

You did a wonderful job. Very lovely home.
Wow, that travatine looked insanely good once cleaned.
Amazing job - and gorgeous garden too.
I must admit it was strange seeing you brush sand on sandstone! Awesome job as always 🥇♥
You made it look so lovely! Happy you did what she asked, even though you knew better. You're a good guy!
So beautiful! I had not seen such lovely paving till watching your videos. Wish such creations were here in California.
Another great job done😊
The patio and garden are magazine photo ready. Very nice cleaning job!
Wow ! Absolutely stunning! The way you made those colours “pop” !! Well done !!
Loved your music choices. The results are stunning. The garden was also so pretty.
Oh yes those tiles are gorgeous! Nice work there! Feel better soon, yep I remember the kids bringing home every cold and what not from school!

The first pass you made with the machine was shocking! Absolutely beautiful after! Great job.

Those colours just popped Nick, awesome job as ALWAYS bud 👍 👌 👏 😉
Another excellent job Nick. Beautiful patio restored to its former glory. And 10 out of 10 for the cowboy builder on the drive. Clown 🤡
beautiful
I did not expect that! Oh my word the contrast!

Fantastic job Nick, looked absolutely stunning. The next door's driveway was really showing just how much it could do with a clean too!
Hope you've shaken
that cold by now, have a great week and thank you for the upload :)
Excellent job, l like watching your videos. I have noticed in several of the videos there are rectangular shape with metal around them, what are they?

Hi mate great video how you getting it to foam like that from a bucket what brush you useing
Thanks bud, it's a carwash brush attached to a much stiffer broom handle. I add surfactant to the SH which creates the foam 👍

Very bad drainage in the patio. Common mistake I see un UK patios. Soil and garden beds are higher than the patio floors. Great job
