    Man, I watched this video many times ... and I like to see Ebinuma mentioned in your video. For me, he's a big inspiration when I watch his fights/technics ... before I go for my training. Maybe I can emulate something from his moves. As you said in your title, (like others judokas) he is "a true judo LEGEND" ! Cheers...

    In my opinion the best one ever. What a shame that he retired so early.

    3X WORLD CHAMPION!!! If you go to judobase you'll see they say 2x for some reason...

      2011,2013,2014..only Abe in 66kg is stronger not Ono or Hashimoto.

    You talked about seoi nage and uchi mata bodytypes, how would you describe the 2 body types?

      Personal take as a 7 year practiser. It’s not about body type, but the grip/framing of body. Uchimata requires more shoulder framing(one elbow width apart from opponent), while seoi nage is one arm length apart framing. The entry distance for the throw to be efficient is different, making it difficult to be good at both as good player should focus on one type of stance and perfect it.

      I guess judo base doesn’t have records for before 2013?!?!
