Some people are just broken. They're psycho, toxic, and awful people. I was in a relationship with a guy who had been abused as a child. It made him into a total psycho. Not violent, but the head games! He was manipulative just for the fun of it. He'd turn on me for no reason just to keep me anxious. And he was smart. It took me 13 years to get free, and a year of therapy. But his mother made him like that. And her stepmother made her like that. I often wonder how far back the psycho goes in that family. It's at least two generations of psycho mothers turning their kids into psychos.

@@wfcoaker1398 Sadly the psycho is made inside such families, and poisons innovent children. There is a small chance, that a kid will See trough the bs, but that is very rare.
The only way to deal with that kind of people is to make them think you don't care about their problems and excuses. Then they will leave you be.

back in the distant retail days there was a problem customer who would ALWAYS use a huge bill first thing in the morning and wipe out a till's set up. She would pick a different check out each day so we ganged up. When someone saw her car park we'd yell "Code Green" and all of us open our registers and toss all the $20s or higher under the till, slam the registers closed and wait. After a few days of this she quit showing up which made us all a bit happier. She wasn't a very nice person anyway.

As someone who used to be a retail store manager, I loved being able to tell people "Sorry, we don't have enough change, do you have another form of payment?" People got pissed, but how are you going to come to my store (which was in the same freaking parking lot as a bank) and try to break big bills at 9 or 10 in the morning? People would always ask for a manager to try to overturn being told no, but I would just smile and say that I am the current manager and we can't break any large bill before noon.
Some people complained to corpo, but the policy was $150 in each register at opening. If I was LUCKY I would be able to have 1 $20 left after the previous days count out and buying change from the bank. Nothing really came out of it because we weren't refusing to do the sales or any large refunds, just asked that they wait until we actually had money before trying to take it all.

I worked at a gas station and people did the same thing. Buy $3 of gas and pay with a $100. We got in alot of dollars bills so I put the big bills in a drawer and stated to give singles. Loved when I gave out 97 singles. I only did it to people that paid with big bills that wanted change(purchased under $5 paid with $50 or $100. I loved the express of the next customer that I gave them big bills. I told them "They wanted change, I had too many singles. Win-win for me."

I'd actually be happy with smaller notes, I even ask for them occasionally... But I would ask if they can give back on that before paying. Especially later in the day, they are often quite happy to get rid of too much smaller ones.
What's the reason people use $100s? Is it cheaper to get that much money in big notes?
If they wanted to be mean, they could always use dollar coins, too.
