@NoBreakz Another pathetic comment. It has everything to do with the show. The comment is remarking on making evil characters sympathetic which is a terrible idea and ruins people's desire for a clear diliniation between good and evil in a story. The connection is that Leslie unquestionably enabled the evil of Harvey and therefore blurs the lines between good and evil in the show because even though she has commited evil, she sees herself as sympathetic. If you're brave enough to rewatch Book of Boba Fett, there's one moment during the bad chase scene that tells you everything you need to know about Disney Star Wars. There's a scene with some characters carrying a painting of Jabba, which is based on an original Ralph Mcquarrie. But they've literally erased Luke Skywalker from it. So basically saying the quiet part out loud.

Honestly, you just need an imagination to write like Disney used to. Look at Captain Underpants for example: absolutely nothing complex, just simple, relatable writing with stories that can (to some extent) be enjoyed by all. When you try to write beyond what you're capable of handling, you get The Acolyte.
I'm confused why the Jedi, who can sense danger (See Attack of the Clones scene where Zam Wesell attempts to assassinate Amadala), can't sense when this assassin is around and trying to kill. Is that ever explained or do modern day writers have too much trouble keeping things consistent because remembering words and stringing them together in a way to attempt creativity takes all their brain power.
The only possible way it could happen is if the assassin used the same technique as Palpatine throughout the clone wars to hide her presence. But since Paplatine is one of the strongest Siths to have ever lived, and the assassins usage of this technique is not directly stated in the show, and because of the way this show was written I very much doubt that is how the assassin did it.
If anyone still has a brain left from watching this awful show, all I have to say is God Bless you, and may you find peace from never laying eyes on Disney Star Wars ever again.
Disney is one of the most established story tellers in the world. Nearly 100 years of reputation and plenty of budget. I just come to expect a certain level of quality. Even when ignoring the politcal agenda (which there obviously is), I expect the writers they hire to be among the best of the best. If I put Messi in an amateur football team, I still expect him to shoot the ball in the right direction. If I put Gordon Ramsey in my home kitchen, I still expect him to whip up a good meal If I put Max Verstappen in my cheap ass car, I still expect him to drive it faster around a circuit than I ever could. By now I must've seen a hundred posts for about every scene in the movies and the shows, giving sugestions on how to do things differently, coming up with ways improve continuance, characters, dialogue and so on. Why is it that random reditors and youtubers have a better grasp of both Star Wars and storytelling than the people in charge of it? The Acolyte had the resources. They had the budget. Yet the props look cheap, the decor looks cheap, the make-up is just bad, the editing is messy, the story in incoherent, the acting is mediocre at best. They might just as well have hired a 100 more writers and the end result would probably still be the same. The issue cannot possebly lie within all these departments, but rather with lack of direction. The fish stinks at the head.
11:54 "He took this poison willingly". What if he drank "something" willingly but "unknowingly" drank a poison? Perhaps someone fooled him to believe he was drinking medicine or something harmless? I protest Robot Head using footage of Vincent and Old Bob as stand-ins for saying the script was written by AI. They clearly would have written something better!
They make a habit of setting something up that gets paid off very shortly after. They have Osha stare at fire and give her a ptsd attack - Yord shows up and says ‘You know how your whole family died in a fire?’ They have Sol say Mae is dead, I saw her die - Then Osha says ‘it wasn’t me’ and now he’s convinced Mae is alive. Yord doesn’t trust Osha in scene one - he follows her later and realises she isn’t the bad person so he trusts her now. They have Mae not know Osha is alive - have her see each other 10 minutes later. These are normally ideas that will be set up early and dictate how characters will act and treat each other throughout the entirety of the show and then be paid off later in the series in the form of character development, not paid off later in the same episode.
If the show was a little bit more clever about having plausible deniability for Mae being alive, didn’t show any of her scenes on screen and conveniently have Osha never around when Jedi’s turn up dead Yord can have a reason to continue not to trust Osha and have him constantly argue with Sol for being too trusting. Osha’s relationship with hism becomes about earning back his trust which we can pay off later by having him die because she couldn’t convince him and at a crucial moment he makes a bad decision that cost him not only his own life but also Jecki’s life as collateral. This adds an additional layer of tragedy to his eventual death scene that serves for more than just shock value. He eventually realises he was wrong, but far too late.

Characters knowing things without prior knowledge: I've noticed that a lot with modern movies, where characters know what the audience knows, regardless of what the character should know or not. Characters might know more than the audience knows and tease it in the context of yet another dumb mystery box, but otherwise, if the audience knows something, the characters somehow also magically know it.
Robot head you’re the greatest! Literally haven’t belly laughed that hard in a long time!!! The Acolyte is only worth watching to get the post show roast from you!
"Because that's what it says in the script!" is how the Disney Star Wars fans defend the show, only they don't realize that's what they're saying because they're doing too much mental gymnastics to convince THEMSELVES of their reasoning.
That skylight reminds of the Simpsons episode at the nuclear plant that has the secret fortified room accessed via numerous safety measures that once inside, has a broken flyscreen door that's been left open. Genius level writing by the Acolyte!
The old young Jedi looks like what happens when you take a clone wars animated character and try to perfectly recreate the look on a real persons head. Maybe they thought “people like clone wars, this will work”. They were wrong but that’s the only explanation I can think of.

I know from KOTOR that there were several temples besides the main one so they got something slightly right but I doubt you'd be able to just walk in, attack someone and walk out again
The choreography of that 'fight' of the Rick James impersonator against the youngest old man is absolutely shocking. It's obvious that the actor is pulling the punches and kicks, and the overhanded stab is obvious. I'm no expert fighter from Bloodsport, but even I can see the nonsense of the 'acting'
The Jedi did have temples elsewhere, but there would never be a local temple. There were mines where Jedi got thier lightsaber crystals. These were temples in name only. There were few Jedi temples scattered in places of spiritual significance, like dantooine. These gradually died out as the Star Wars universe and the Jedi order with it decayed over time.
I'm going to start identifying as non-hetero-post-un-trans-de-unbinary-sic-non-gay-male so I can get a job writing for Hollywood. I think my first movie will be about how the main character is after revenge because a gang of male men sic dudes killed my moms and my dads.
The Galaxy is supposed to be 10's of thousands of years old. Even on the outer rim there is supposed to be massive cities on par with Corescaunt. Most of this is would be in Hutt space, or from bygone empires like the Mandalore

Sol reads minds one minute, then welcomes the evil twin....and even cries on her shoulder, I can't help feeling this thing was edited from 12 episodes into 8 it's complete sithshow. ...grt video as always 👍
_ This may just be my opinion. There are a couple of ideas in this show that would have been great for a murder mystery, if utilized correctly: + Jedi are too strong, you can't kill a Jedi with steel or baster you have to kill the dream + The witches focused on a different application of the Force(emphasising the connection between people & mind manipulation) + The heroine has an evil twin who was presumed dead _ Here's my idea: The mysterious assassin use mental attack(like the head witch nearly kill the padawan with a mindbreak in ep 3), illusion to kill Jedi or convince them to off themselves(using their guilt like the guy in ep 2). There are witnesses seeing the Osha near the crime scene but she is nowhere near as powerful enough to do this(and wasn't trained to do this), Mae was the one trained by the witches with this aspect of the Force; but Osha's master saw Mae died. The twist is Mae is a force ghost secretly possessing the Osha(basically using "the power of 2 /many" thing the witches were chanting as the 2 soul connecting in one body give the sister more power than 1 could muster) whenever she sleep
So many crimes against art, making the Jedi so incompetent that they're killed by the simplest ploys possible is one of the worst. "Look over there", stabs with a butter knife "Drink this, because I don't like you", drinks it and dies

🙋♂ 2:36 Did the floating Jedi's cloak move inside the force bubble when Mae landed near his feet? 😂😂😂 That said, it looks like he is standing there holding fake legs strapped in front of him to give the impression of floating. Too funny.

More importantly, it's a symptom of Mary Sue fanfiction.
I'm not even watching the show, but this video left me stunned, mouth agape with a pinching headache. Robot Head, mate, you're going to do yourself damage if you keep this up.
Disney people, please hire Robot Head to write a pilot
What harm could it do? You're already flogging a dead horse
It amazes me that Inside Out 2 & The Acolyte are made by the same company. $1,000,000,000 in 19 days versus "The power of maaaannnnnyyyyyyyyy..."
Yaaaassss! Yaaaassss!👩🏿🦲
They are both terrible. What is amazing? One is about lesbian jewish scissorhood and the other is a psyche break down of the same thing
that billion feeds the agenda people so even if they loose money big on every move they make empowering the agenda, they will still be around to make another try and another try and another try...
I know from KOTOR that there were several temples besides the main one so they got something slightly right but I doubt you'd be able to just walk in, attack someone and walk out again
Yeah, temples are akin to churches, and the temple on coruscant is akin to the Vatican. And now I want to replay KOTOR
Me: Let's strip things down to the bare essentials... wait... why are you stripping?
Disney: Did u not say strip?
14:06 I just hate that ALL the feckin' Jedi assembled missed out on THIS no-name dude somehow knowing both sisters were still alive...
0:52 This indeed isn't a disney addition, in clone wars and rebels it was shown that there are multiple Jedi temples...
19:41 Brilliant! Doesn't look like a world I'd want to spend any time in.
Always nice when new star wars shit comes out so we get new robot head videos
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, the jedi hired padawans based on dei initiatives
Jedei padawans, haha...
It gets worse. They show green lady has a laser whip so that means she’s Smilo’s master. They can’t help spoiling s**t.
Writers who don't understand "Show don't tell" should never be allowed to write a story.
DEI
0:36 Did they take inspiration for that ship from one of Padme's hairstyle from Attack of the Clones?
Jedi deep dish made me laugh out loud 😂
Hilarious! I literally just involuntarily spat out my drink like in the movies
OMGOSH! I just shot a load too!
Jedi Deep-Dish... holy hell that was outstanding!!!
Awesome! More RobotHead videos!
👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽You had me at the two pairs of ✂️✂️ in the intro 😂❤
😅👍
I'm going to start identifying as non-hetero-post-un-trans-de-unbinary-sic-non-gay-male so I can get a job writing for Hollywood. I think my first movie will be about how the main character is after revenge because a gang of male men sic dudes killed my moms and my dads.
The Galaxy is supposed to be 10's of thousands of years old.
Even on the outer rim there is supposed to be massive cities on par with Corescaunt.
Most of this is would be in Hutt space, or from bygone empires like the Mandalore
That Leslie interview clip is cut too short. In the full clip she said “if you don’t like the acolyte that’s fine for you to go find a 12 story building and learn to fly”
Sol reads minds one minute, then welcomes the evil twin....and even cries on her shoulder, I can't help feeling this thing was edited from 12 episodes into 8 it's complete sithshow.
...grt video as always 👍
A cat stuck in clear-wrap 😂 2:48 (cling-wrap in the UK)
The era of great writers, screenplay, plots, storytelling, and character developments are long gone
I love how you can always absolutely rip new Star Wars to bits 👏🏽
Remember when Tommy wiseau wanted a shot at Star Wars? Good times.
He would have done better than everything since the prequels.
It’s impressive how The Acolyte is now worse than The Holiday Special.
_ This may just be my opinion. There are a couple of ideas in this show that would have been great for a murder mystery, if utilized correctly:
+ Jedi are too strong, you can't kill a Jedi with steel or baster you have to kill the dream
+ The witches focused on a different application of the Force(emphasising the connection between people & mind manipulation)
+ The heroine has an evil twin who was presumed dead
_ Here's my idea: The mysterious assassin use mental attack(like the head witch nearly kill the padawan with a mindbreak in ep 3), illusion to kill Jedi or convince them to off themselves(using their guilt like the guy in ep 2).
17:52 Jedi deep dish it was hilarious the first time you said it and got even funnier especially when you're talking about roasted chicken lol.
So many crimes against art, making the Jedi so incompetent that they're killed by the simplest ploys possible is one of the worst.
"Look over there", stabs with a butter knife
"Drink this, because I don't like you", drinks it and dies
Head, it's your biggest American fan. Somebody has to call this crap out and unmask it for the trash it is. Do something for me man, don't hold back! Let me have it . We know the next few episodes will be crap. I used you're promo code again and saved another 15 percent. Me and the wife love our purchase so big thanks mate. Keep up the great work my friend
13:30 - Yord: "Back away!" ... Uh, that's what the unarmed dude was already doing. Osha's the one with the weapon on him.
Star Wars Holiday special looking better and better by the day.
No communication devices that are portable 😮😂
0:50 Well, there is a Jedi temple on Osis (Abandoned), Tython (abandoned) and lots on enclaves here and there. But thats all "legends" now.
Apperantly a Jedi needs to be a Legend now to be able to tell what a sith is. You know. The thing the Jedi order was kinda sorta primary made to fight. But again, thats all "legends" now...
