Thank you for sharing your experience. I recently went back to using a comb to detangle. I recently posted a video about 30 mistakes that I made with my hair. I also in the video briefly discuss depression.
Giiiiiirrrlllll!!!! 😫 I really need to learn to speak up when my hairdresser does something I don't want. I'm just always passive. And I've always been too shy to admit that my natural hair, like yours works best when it's blown out.
I did the big chop last year October after my 22nd Birthday for the similar reason as you...relaxed hair breaking, not growing and also feeling like a change. so I have been natural for just a little over year. However I have been doing protective styles back to back, like literally with one day in between. Which was so bad! salon small tooth combs and everything one shouldn't be doing...I honestly didn't know any better. Two weeks ago I decided to get to know my natural hair by leaving it out for some time. Your videos have been really helpful. Thanks hun! I bought the Jamaican black casta oil yesterday. I have very dry hair so I hope it works.
Reitumetse Mashiane It's actually so sad how black people cant do black hair 😢😭 . But yeah , I actually wana learn how to do my own hair to avoid such stress lol
Yoh dude! I can so relate. I had box braids done 2 weeks ago and I let her comb my hair out with a small comb...I wanted to cry but I was like - WHY ARE YOU QUIET?? Never again
Sinenhlanhla Njapha I'll never understand how a hairdresser can use such a tiny comb on natural hair. I still cringe at some of my salon disasters! But I'm glad we learnt girl 😂
Girl iss crazy really lol. Coming to Rome in September with my friend, please share some cool local restaurants we can go to and any cool shops we can pick up cute stuff at. Route: Milan > Verona > Venice > Florence > Rome then Amalfi (Sorrento & Positano).
Lol I wash my natural hair everyday cause it's extremely short, like 'unbraidably' short. Me doing so won't affect it in any way, will it? and if it does how do I go about styling it every day without washing it? I have 4c hair btw.

I don't have natural hair, but I still enjoy your videos 😂
Thandiwe Gama Aww , I know! Your videos are amazing too 💛

Lol! You have to change that for your hair's sake. And, yes, its so much easier to work with then blown out right?

zipho falakhe It’s all about trial and error hey. I’m glad you’re trying to figure out your hair. How’s the JBCO going for you?
Love your braids 😍😍 I can definitely relate with the glueing my hairdresser did that to me as well as I sat quietly 😩😂😂
Naturally Unbothered Lol! 😂 I knew someone could relate . I'm so glad we won't be silent anymore 😢😭
🙈🙈 I don't go to salons anymore. Most salons don't know much about natural hair, its a struggle having to tell them what to do nd what not to do. 😐

Oh my word! I loved this 😂 I'm a victim to salon ladies, I can't speak up! I'm a weakling!
Aviwe Badi Lol girl you're not the only one! That was me for the longest , but honestly just speak up . I don't want you dying on the inside 😂

siphokazi mtshulana Yes , I'm all about that , I don't like to use too many products sometimes. I will definitely put that on my to-do list
how do you stretch your natural hair?
Teika Samuda Hey . I was actually thinking of doing a video about that . I used to blow it out but now I'm reducing heat & doing "African threading" 😘
Hi Rachel please show us next time you trim your hair how it should be done, thank you

Princess Nomcebo Well hair is different. For me, it really just stressed my hair out a lot. But I would style and co-wash once a week and wash weekly.
i love your hair, awesome video gorgeous!! great thing is we can learn from our mistakes:) #newsubbie
