Mike's "insight" is embarassingly stupid. The same guy who told us 100 times that the Mets would never sell. Can he at least admit how wrong he was? And now saying that the Mets have no chance next year even _with_ Verlander? Really? Back in January, Mike thought that this year's team had a chance to win it all. Now remove Scherzer, and say they sign Ohtani - or otherwise sign a good starting pitcher - and bring back Robertson. Diaz is healthy. Why would they have no chance to even contend next year, but they did this year? Mike makes no sense, as usual. Mike also doesn't understand why the Mets are making trades. No, it is absolutely NOT because Steve Cohen "doesn't want to be reminded of" what happened this year. That's really dumb. They traded a guy who they don't have signed past this year (Robertson) who they will probably bring back, and a guy who they don't want on the team anymore (Scherzer), and still only because they got back very promising prospects. And now they traded Canha for someone they obviously believe can be part of the starting rotation next year. Why is Mike being so dense?
U actually believe that? Based on what that they are selling off a few failed contract? They are going to want to make a statement in the offseason and get a new face of the franchise. They will spend more money then anyone by a mile to get him so I don't really understand why you would think that.

And don't give me the biggest bust in history because this was the biggest payroll ever. Of course! The money keeps going up! Whoever has the highest payroll has the highest payroll ever! Let it go . . . and rebuild. Trade Verlander for 3 young stud arms. (Mike drop)
Yankees aren’t as much better I wouldn’t go to the Bronx either only to the zoo
Worst team ever ?
The worst team ever would be the self proclaimed dream team Philadelphia eagles of 2011 as they and all their fans watched in horror as the Giants won another super bowl
For such payroll- definitely !
Time for mike to hang up the mic. He’s a shell
If the Yankees are not spending MONEY, then START ALL OVER, WHAT Are The YANKEES doing
Mike even if the Mets kept the entire team this year they stink. August and September was going to be a ghost town either way.
Mikey boy stick to the Yankees we all know your a Yankees Homer uncle Steve will buy starters np I rather watch youngsters that overpaid stiffs so relax Mickey boy
The Mets have blown any chance they had of getting Ohtani. Mets official probability of getting Shohei: 0.00%
U actually believe that? Based on what that they are selling off a few failed contract? They are going to want to make a statement in the offseason and get a new face of the franchise. They will spend more money then anyone by a mile to get him so I don't really understand why you would think that.
No they haven't
They have a double-digit % chance solely due to the size of Cohen’s wallet
The Angels suck why would he come to the Mets who also suck? He doesnt wanna be on the east coast to begin with@@mrwhite5511
