Still two of the best players in the 2000s. This would have been a forgettable b-side sketch in their era, but it's like water in the desert these days.

Yes! That sketch where they’re on the spaceship about to get invaded by aliens and Wiig, the Space Commander can’t find her purse and spends the whole invasion obsessed about her purse is one of my favorites of them together.
"...and now they'll meet the wrath of God and burn in TODDLER HELL!"

I am convinced that when previous cast members come back to host, they are always allowed 1-3 sketches of their choosing that were previously rejected - ie, the worst (best) ones that they came up in a fever dreams or on a lot of drugs. And it always makes me so happy to see them.
This was a reoccurring skit when Will and Kristen were on SNL. It was pretty much the same every time, but usually the songs were holiday themed
That's whole John mulaney in the making lol, glad they let him do the musical bodega, restaurant, la Guardia airport and others
Well, John Mulaney's Lobster Diner sketch from the first time he hosted was a sketch he came up with as a writer and couldn't get off the ground, so maybe that theory isn't that far-fetched.

@@mikequinlivan8842 No, I know Garth and Kat too. Jackie Snad and Clancy T. Bachleratt were also reoccuring and had holiday themed skits, at least Easter and Thanksgiving, maybe more. The songs always had Model-T Fords, jars of beer, spaceships, and toddlers
They committed to this sketch. That had to take significant energy for them to pull that sketch off the way they did.

This sketch was hilarious! Will Forte was great, and Kristen Wiig is a national treasure. I didn’t know there could be so many different songs about toddlers, spaceships, jars of beer and Model T cars 😂
This pretty much sums up my opinion of country music the three of these people drove me to bits of laughter but also it was enough to drive me nuts so good job guys.

I don’t think a single second of this sketch was wasted. Nearly every word, name, lyric, and mannerism is hilarious.
This feels like one of those random adult swim shorts that would come on at 3AM and I’m LOVING it.
Weakest part is Keenan.

I feel this is a scam. I'm from Pickletits, Delaware and never heard of Bachleratt and Snad.
I come back to this at least once a month and it never stops knocking me over. How Kristen jumps during "The Eyes of God" when Will belts it out gets me every time. SNL needs to have Will back to host again soon.
