Very nice to see SNL give a new cast member a chance early on instead of playing a waiter an entire season. Aristotle did a great job.
I mean, they gave the other new guy the president in the cold open for the season for his first sketch.
What I actually expect happened was it was planned for him to be hired specifically to play Donald Trump if he had won and Baldwin didn’t plan on continuing the role. Turns out, he’s a comedian already known for being one of the best Trump impersonators around. So he said “I can do Biden too!”
This is so true. Sometimes they just languish in the background for 16 episodes. It's depressing.

Daniel Craig's character certainly got his money's worth... Even Rami and Aristotle's eyes were perfectly coordinated orbs of innocence. Rami's super subtle dance moves are hilarious as well... He's got good comedic chops.

This sketch is becoming reminiscent of David S Pumpkins, one that I don’t like too much the first time watching, then I eventually find myself watching it over and over again, and it’s become addictive. It’s stuck in my head, and I still don’t know why.
I did like pumpkins the first time and I liked this one the first time even more. But I found myself watching both of those sketches several times and liking them even more. So I have to agree with you, It has that quality.
I'd really like to see the character come back.... He could be a regular on the show.

The best singing and dancing I have ever seen! Angelo is truly incredible and clearly not influenced by the trends of American music. Todd's dancing is so subtle it's almost like he's not doing anything at all, but at the same time it is so powerful, especially when he adds the ribbons. Both men do more with less, a lot less. I hope they have a 3-hour concert with these two artistic geniuses! I don't know where Fezber Bifurbinas is, but it must be a great country. Toniiiiight! This is the music and the dance that will heal the world!

I think they are really missing the mark by not getting him to be a returning character immediately.
They could have him show up in a college classroom, with his unique way of speaking.... and eventually correct a complex physics equation on the board or something... to show that he is much deeper than we know.

I think Kate being gone temporarily and Beck gone is giving these kids time to shine, coming out from under their enormous shadows. The writing is much improved and the cast chemistry is clicking on all cylinders. The cast seems more free and confident.

Also. His timing was terrible here. Stammering out your lines is not comedy-acting technique. It's grasping for a handle.

This energy of this season’s new crop of writers & performers is reminiscent of SNL from the ‘70’s. Great season ahead.
This was mildly amusing at first but for some reason 'Todd' with those ribbons (I call them streamers but semantics lol) and the way 'Angelo' was leaning back and over his stool just made me bust out laughing! Now we need to have Angelo featured on a Dionne Warwick skit! I can just see them watching a brief clip of this, her asking him, "Explain yourself," and him going, "Say for me?" 🤣

I love seeing Daniel Craig in comedic roles. I'm so used to him playing serious roles. He was great in Knives Out, and this was hilarious!

unbelievable they let aristotle go after a season...easily the most underused and prematurely fired talent snl has seen in years (since taran killam imo).
