My dad bought one and could not ride it. The throttle twisted forward and spark advance was on the left and twisted backwards. You did not give it to much spark while kicking it over. I still have the bike and have had a ton of people try to buy it. Not for sale
got a 61 that i had too bring back from socal wanna be chopper look (too short of shocks, too high of handlebars, hideous long 2 person seat , horrible flame purple paint job and weirdo exhaust system) when i finally got it together and timed it and adjusted everything is actually ran really good so decided to just drive it - its a blast and while a totally tank but is pretty solid bike for a dinosaur
thats nice .. can i have it? it's my birth year. in theory they don't need ajustment but unless it has solid lifters it does. the only pan i ever had was a 61 . i road shovels for most of my life, one for over a half a million miles. That bike i was aways adjusting the valves and reseting the timing.
I had a 49, but that is a gem.
I’d take it in a HEARTBEAT…born 1964
I really like the addition to your classic sign. I align with that motto! 👍🏽
