I bought a 100s in 1977. The color that year was RED and it had the more streamlined valve covers. My paint immediately faded. The dealer was a friend and got me all repainted parts from bmw that never faded again. I just had to send back all the faded stuff back. The bike shown sure looks like a 76????

Got 94 GSXR 750w with 2001 Bandit 1200 S motor in it. Rock Solid bike have since 2012 it Morphed into the Hillbilly bandit 1200 A/F. Like the channel got a sub later

Why BMW quit making the machine and its variants is still a mystery to me. They sold zillions of them. It did absolutely everything you could possibly ask of a motorcycle and did them beautifully. Its appearance is timeless.

Had a mongrel '72 R75/5 with an '79 R100 motor traded for something or another. Best bike in the world, best years of my life, best times, the usual story....

in 2012 i worked at a marina on cape cod and in a back shed was a former employees R90S! he had moved to the Netherlands and nobody knew how to get in touch with the owner. apparently he was not interested in selling. it was torture.

10.3.24. 🤔I believe that Daytona Orange was only used on the 1975-1976 years. What a beautiful bike & the sunny day is superb to showcase the BMW. In the superbike series the BMW far out handled the Japanese bikes that is why they were winning. It wasn’t until the Japanese started learning how to build frames and suspension systems that they took over super bike.

Just got myself a '05 K1200GT, the last incarnation of the 'brick' models. Very smooth, yet also very much an acquired taste.

I worked for a Vespa dealership in the late 70's We had a neat trick for changing the outer cable that ran through the frame.

Riding a hot rod Vespa would make you rethink your life choices.

I have a 1962 YD3 , doing a frame up, fortunately it is mostly complete. I should have it on the road next spring. Are there any other options for 16 inch whitewalls other than Firestones that you know of? Nice job, what paint did you put on the pipes?

Paint the floor with epoxy before you getting in with mashinery and furniture. It will serve you lifetime. Propose light blue, but do it on your own taste

I used balancing beads for motorcycle tires. I mount them at home

The extra weight is what I like about mine. The Maine trails can be rough and rocky. The TL250's weight hold the trail. No bouncing all over the rocks. No sliding. It holds the rock face with its extra weight and takes the bumps for me. I can go most of the day without getting worn out. And, yes, it climbs anything. Nice video. You covered most everything.
