So glad you're checking out Ronnie!!!! Get ready for the rabbit hole! He has a ton of great hits! "It was almost like a song" will make you cry! More good ones, "what a different you made in my life", "Stranger in my house", "She keeps the home fires burning", "Pure Love" and "Daydreams about night things".
Millsap is from my neck of the woods. Not a lot of people are aware of it but before he made it big on his own, Millsap played piano on the Elvis song "Kentucky Rain". Millsap said Elvis stopped the recording and said "More thunder, Milsap!". "Pure Love" is my favorite Millsap song.
I grew up on this listening to an 8 track in my father's car. I love me some Milsap. Daydreams about Night Things and I Wouldn't Have Missed It For The World are amazing
I saw him and the bellemey brothers and Alabama in Concert back in the 80's, Ronnie being blind, Jumped up on his piano!!! I thought wow look at this cat!
Ronnie Milsap was the headliner in 2005 or 6 in North Georgia the band i performed in opened for him. He was a great down to earth human being. He is blind but plays piano fiddle writes and sings. Two of his cousins around the same age were television evangelists. Good memories. In the Chorus the thunder effect he makes with his left is signuture hand is classic Rodney Milsap. To see how great his range was check out Lost in the 50s tonight.
There's quite a few artists you need to get to on the country journey like CRYSTAL GAYLE, JANIE FRICKE, JOHNNY PAYCHECK, WAYLON JENNINGS, JUICE NEWTON, T G SHEPPARD...just to name a few.
Got to see Ronnie here in our town back in the 80’s . I had a friend of mine working at the Civic Center he was performing at . He said Ronnie would walk the stage over and over the day before the concert . He lived a hard life but didn’t let that stop him for sure .
I was lucky enough to see both Ronnie Milsap and the Statler Bros in concert in the late 1970's. Ronnie when he was finished would get up from the piano and walk to the edge of the stage and stopped in time without falling. He was a true showman. Of course the Statlers were simply AMAZING as well.
Ronnie Milsap is a living legend. I grew up listening to Ronnie when I was a kid, because my dad use to play his music. As a thank you, I took my dad to an outdoor RP concert and a we both had an awesome time. Tickets were only $5 back in the mid 2000's. I would have easily paid much much more for this experience.
Ronnie milsap has had 40 number one hits on the billboard country chart and others and sold over 35 million albums 13 music videos 79 singles 30 studio albums two live albums in my opinion one of the greatest singers of all time listen to almost like a song
So glad that you are discovering the amazingly talented Ronnie Milsap. He was one of my favorite singer/musicians ever. Love him❤️ Glad you appreciated him too.
One of my favorite songs is Old Folks by Ronnie Millsap and Mike Reid. The chorus really hits home when it says, "With a little luck and the Lord to see us through, some day we will be old folks too."
I'm from The Great Smoky Mountains born and raised in NC ! If you and your husband ever get a chance to visit ,come see the mountains! And make sure you visit Pigeon Forge /Gatlinburg, TN, it's a must do! Ronnie Milsap was born in Robbinsville ,NC which is about an hour away from my house! Dolly Parton was born in Sevierville,TN which is right next to Pigeon Forge! Ps Ronnie Milsap has 40 #1 hits under his belt!
One of my favorite country songs from when I was in junior high in the early 80s. Thanks for reaction. Check out... I Wouldn't Have Missed It For The World by Ronnie Milsap.
Love this song. Reminds me of my grandma's house ❤️❤️ thanks for reminding me. 👍if you've never been been to TN I highly recommend beautiful place👍👍❤️🌎✌️
I enjoy your channel! Some great ones by Ronnie: • (I’m A) Stand by My Woman Man • What Goes On When the Sun Goes Down • Pure Love • Daydreams About Night Things • Don’t You Ever Get Tired (Of Hurting Me)
A couple of my favorites were there's a stranger in my house and also I wouldn't have missed it for the world those are great videos to catch once you get a chance
You should listen to these Ronnie Milsap songs: - I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. - lost in the fifties tonight - what goes on when the sun goes down - pure love
Thanks for taking us on your country journey Tasha. If you'd like to check out a new angle on the genre Upchurch just dropped the video for "Real Country". Upchurch is a remarkable character; a very successful independent artist who always keeps it real and from the heart.
Ronnie has such a great voice. In my opinion, you started right at the top - I love that one! But right up there are other GREAT songs of his: “What a Difference You’ve Made in My Life,” “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It for the World”, and “Any Day Now”. There are other exceptional ones beyond these too. Much to enjoy with Ronnie.
This is an amazing classic!!! If you haven't already been told about it.....check out the remake of this song, which was done about 30 years later??? With the incredible miss Dolly Parton!!
Yeah much respect for the disabled artists such as Ronnie ,Terry Gibbs, Ray Charles, Jeff Healey they were amazing they betrayal blazers and they prove that you didn't have to be able to see to be an amazing Dynamo of artistry. I will also add Beethoven because he was deaf and still made all that beautiful music.
Other than Hank Williams Sr. (the gold standard in country music), you should listen to Aaron Tippin. "You've got to Stand for Something," and "I Wonder how far it is Over You" are fantastic songs. You should give them a listen.
Old school good old country and it's best. Ronnie milsap almost a crossover had some great almost soul ballads make you really smile. There's no getting over me what a great tune that actually hit country and pop charts. Same with any day now. It's good to see you continuing on your country journey. I think I requested once before but maybe you could react to the actual video of Kenny chesney's who you'd be today. I liked your little metal short while you don't react to metal anymore that was awesome 🤠😎
The late 70's/early 80's was a great time for country music. My recommendation for you to react to is "Let Your Love Flow" by the Bellamy Brothers. If you like Ronnie Milsap, I KNOW you will like the Bellamy Brothers.
Thank you for reacting to this song, I loved this song as a child. I will say again patiently and with respect both you and T should react as a couple to Little Moments by Brad Paisley.
I'd like to suggest in addition those excellent selections already suggested that you listen to two of Milsap's lesser known romantic hits, "Cowboys and Clowns," and "Inside." Both are beautiful romantic songs.
Another great artist Im not sure youve done is "Glenn Campbell". "By The Time I Get To Phoenix" is the one I would suggest. Live version. Glenn was an incredible singer and guitarist in the country world. And the song is one of his very best.
If you read this, congrats on reviewing an original song to review. One of things great about your channel is not following the trend on what to react to and your subs are awesome for requesting songs like this that are covered in dust and unrecognizable to others. Love y’all and keep going. #bestreactionchannel
Please oh PLEASE react to RONNIE MILSAP - SHE KEEPS THE HOME FIRES BURNING. That chorus is FIRE! I hope you read this and react before the New Years 👍🏼☺️🙏🏻✝️ God Bless you!!
I think you also missing another artist to your country music tour name Mark collie one of his song is called Born to Love you and the other one is even the Man in the Moon is crying both great songs and he's a great artist
A lot of people should stop and think that, maybe their dreams really aren't in the big lights, but actually sitting right there on the couch next to you, or laying in bed next to you, or sitting in the high chair, or in the stroller, etc. Sadly, like this song, some people find out too late that the lure of glitter and glitz wasn't all it was cracked up to be, and that they walked away from the REAL source of their happiness which, reminds us, to be careful what we wish for. Sort of a contrast to this song would be "My Front Porch Looking In", by Lonestar (one of my wife's favorite songs) Peace, Y'all.
Yes! Those are my favorites too!
Yep, can't fail with any Ronnie Milsap...

How The Story Ends.
"Lost in the Fifties Tonight" is one of his best songs.
yes!!!!
I absolutely love that song. It’s my favorite of his songs.
Agreed!
And try Eddie Rabbit: he wrote Kentucky Rain... 26 #1 Songs!
"I Love A Rainy Night"
You'd both like his song "There's No Getting Over Me".
I grew up on this listening to an 8 track in my father's car. I love me some Milsap. Daydreams about Night Things and I Wouldn't Have Missed It For The World are amazing
Ronnie sings beautiful songs. His "What A Difference You Made In My Life" is another pretty one.
Ronnie Milsap has always been one of my favorites...and he gets so little "reaction" coverage. So many great songs!
I saw him and the bellemey brothers and Alabama in Concert back in the 80's, Ronnie being blind, Jumped up on his piano!!! I thought wow look at this cat!

I'm from Gatlinburg in the Smoky mountains. We loved this in 80.
There's quite a few artists you need to get to on the country journey like CRYSTAL GAYLE, JANIE FRICKE, JOHNNY PAYCHECK, WAYLON JENNINGS, JUICE NEWTON, T G SHEPPARD...just to name a few.
My favorite line in the song, even as a child, was "I've got to find her, can you make these big wheels burn"
2 of my favorite Ronnie Milsap songs are "Daydreams About Night Things" and "Stranger In MY House".
Gotta do "It Was Almost Like A Song".
Great song!
Must hear ronnie milsap are stranger in my house, she keeps the home fires burning, no getting over me, and i wouldn't have missed it for the world.

"What a Difference you Made in my Life".......One of his bast, IMO
One of his best...Legend In My Time.
Wonderful reaction. What made his music even better is that he was blind and still had such a successful career in music.
His story is awesome and his career is incredible!
Great song from yesteryear and just a beautiful , talented person , enjoyed it
One of my favorite songs is Old Folks by Ronnie Millsap and Mike Reid. The chorus really hits home when it says, "With a little luck and the Lord to see us through, some day we will be old folks too."

Kudos to you for going on the Country Music journey. The stories are magnificent!
A tidbit about this artist, he is legally blind.
And totally blind. If I recall he even lost detection of light and shadows when he was very young.
"I Wouldn't Have Missed it For the World"
Add Milsap's song "Nobody Likes Sad Songs" to the list. So many to choose from, no bad songs from him.
Love this song. Reminds me of my grandma's house ❤️❤️ thanks for reminding me. 👍if you've never been been to TN I highly recommend beautiful place👍👍❤️🌎✌️

Definitely need to listen to "Somewhere Between Right and Wrong"- Earl Thomas Conley
Smokey Mountains where I’m from. Great song here. He has quite a few dandies! Great job as usual Mrs Tashy!
Other than Hank Williams Sr. (the gold standard in country music), you should listen to Aaron Tippin. "You've got to Stand for Something," and "I Wonder how far it is Over You" are fantastic songs. You should give them a listen.

smokey mountains is where Dolly Parton was born
U r an amazing person. I GREW up with these songs. So, sorta going thru with u too
The late 70's/early 80's was a great time for country music. My recommendation for you to react to is "Let Your Love Flow" by the Bellamy Brothers. If you like Ronnie Milsap, I KNOW you will like the Bellamy Brothers.
Here's one; Dan Seals "Bop"
Definitely not traditional country, but it’s a fun song. Dan Seals is great. My dad had “Bop” on a 45.
This was inspired by an Elvis song Ronnie played piano on called Kentucky Rain. You should check that one out.
Did you react to "Happy Birthday Baby" by Ronnie Milsap? So beautiful! Smokey Mountain Rain is one of my favorites!
Ronnie has some really good sitting at the bar crying in your beer songs. One of his best is Don't you ever get tired of hurting me. 💘💘💘
You gonna have to put the Bellamy Brothers on the list
Yep. Let Your Love Flow is one of my favorites.
Ronnie Milsap - Stranger in my house
I hope you get to listen to dust in a baggie by Billy Strings or Turmoil and Tinfoil
Add jerry Reed to your country journey, particularly "Early Morning Rain". from 1971
Such a nice song! Nice memories! 😊🌹
Thank you for reacting to this song, I loved this song as a child. I will say again patiently and with respect both you and T should react as a couple to Little Moments by Brad Paisley.

The hard part is ... when they don't want to go with you and you have to choose
"daydreams about night things" is another jammer by Ronnie you should react to.
I think you also missing another artist to your country music tour name Mark collie one of his song is called Born to Love you and the other one is even the Man in the Moon is crying both great songs and he's a great artist
Those were big hits in the 90s. I used to listen to “Even the Man in the Moon is Crying” all the time.
A lot of people should stop and think that, maybe their dreams really aren't in the big lights, but actually sitting right there on the couch next to you, or laying in bed next to you, or sitting in the high chair, or in the stroller, etc.
