Great reaction T. Robin is so under appreciated. He is a phenomenal guitarist. Great great song. That silky soulful voice is the late great James Dewar RIP Jimmy. Keep up the great work T give my best to Tasha.
79 years old, and still touring when he can. I've been a fan since the mid 70's, and have seen him several times, always an outstanding show. I HIGHLY recommend that you & Tasha try to see him before he goes away from us. Go to his website & sign up so you can know when/if he tours the U.S. again.
Trower sounds like power. Been a big fan of theirs for many, many years. I’ve seen them live twice. This music touches my soul. Please listen to Victims Of The Fury and Lady Love. I know you’ll enjoy both. ✌️❤️🤘
Thank you for returning to Robin Trower again. It’s a shame he’s largely unknown and unappreciated by the mass of music listeners. I’m 71 and remember the first time hearing this song in 1974 while stationed in (West) Germany, burning through a few bowls of Moroccan black hash with a few friends, and drinking some ice cold Bitburger Pils. It was the perfect way to really get into and enjoy the entire album. Good times 😊
I have been to many ,many concerts seen hundreds of bands live. One of those were Robin Trower who I saw three times. When they performed this song it was something that made me “spellbound” and as I looked around the audience I believe from the faces we were all feeling it. Out of so many different concerts, songs performed by various artist that have faded away, this is one of the elite that stayed in my memory. Should check out video of them love doing this song.
One of my favorites, I just never could figure out why it was called "Daydream," and not "Spellbound." It's one of those rare songs that not only creates it's own atmosphere, but also it's own gravity that just sucks you right in.
So Robin started out in Procul Harum you know, Whiter Shade of Pale. Went solo and his greatest accomplishment was the Bridge of Sighs album which this song is on.
Trower is the best. Dewar vocals, fantastic. Dewar was also a very under rated Bass player. Listen to his slides in this one. So deep. He will be missed.
Bass player and vocalist James Dewar (from Scotland) blends beautifully with Robin's guitar. You're right about Jimi's influence on Robin. btw, "Trower" rhymes with POWER.
IF YO LIKE GREAT GUITAR. MAY-BEE TRY SOME JUSTIN JOHNSON.. OR RY COODER. AND THEN THEN THERE IS ANY SONG BY MEAN MARY. AND IT ALL JUST GOES ON AND ON INTO HEAVEN.
Robin Trower was and is one of the best ever! ❤❤❤❤. Great artist from my youth.
Robin is the shit P E R I O D !!! Him and Dewar were magic ❤❤❤❤

Trower and Dewar were a duo from the gods.
Jimmy Dewar...amazing voice and bass player. Never got enough respect. Gone too soon.
