Experimenting with Operations - HO Scale Switching Layout - Warehouse Alley
New layout, new operations ideas to be experimented with!
Now that my trackwork is done and wired up, it's time to start experimenting with the various operations sessions that this layout could support. The primary industries on the layout are represented in this video via the paper mock-up and part of the structure from my other switching layout as a placeholder. This video represents playing out one of the ideas I had for switching both industries in one session. It's just raw video, so no commentary or proper editing... just having fun!
While I'm experimenting tonight with transition-era equipment in this video, I'll be using this layout for both transition-era and modern-era operations (I'll just switch out the vehicles for each type). The structures will appear to have been built sometime around the 1940's, but are still standing and in use up until modern day.
