Brother... you have made me the happiest dude alive. I have owned my 2011 jeep compass with the same motor for 2 years and this is the first video for my specific car on youtube that I've found for the issues I have. Lifesaver

I believe you're the only video on the internet that shows where these sensors are. I've been looking for weeks and when I saw your video, I thought JACKPOT! Thanks buddy! I subscribed and liked! You made my day!

Great! You are the first person that showed me where the 2nd Camshaft sensor was located. I changed the first one, cleared my code with scanner [P000B ..(Bank #2)] and it came back a few days later. I am assuming I changed the wrong camshaft sensor; so I am going to change the rear one tomorrow. Thanks

Did changing the other sensor clear the code? I have the same code on mine.

I appreciate your great video and information...it really help me located the sensor....but I have to disagree on the cranckshaft sensor situation...it takes 10 minutes or less to replace from the bottom if you can put your car on stands😊. It saves you all the trouble of removing the air box and work blind behind the engine. It took me longer to replaced the front sensor camshaft....anyway...O still appreciate your video...thanks 😊

The sensors you and the other guy are replacing are completely different. He's getting under the car for a reason

The sensors that you are replacing are the CAM sensors and the sensor the guy is replacing is the CRANK sensor!

My Jeep Compass is giving me the P000A code. I replaced both of the sensors mentioned in this video and it hasnt taken away the check engine light. Any suggestions? Thanks! 🙏🏼

Did you ever figure it out? My Jeep just gave me that codes. I’m going to replace both sensors but I’m trying to think ahead in case the problem is not solved.

Hey whats the reason to change this
My 2011 jeep compass keeps stalling and completely shutdown them i able to crank back up but as soon i start to drive it dies again with check engine light on
I dont understand i thought it might be the transmission because the car kept losing acceleration then stalling

My 2011 keeps stalling at starts and red lights (starts right back up) but after warmed up for awhile it stops. No codes. Replaced, air filter, spark plugs, cleaned iac. Can't figure out what the issue is. Any ideas?

@@terran2kk no, still haven't figured it out. I had it looked at after a p1607 code popped up but that resulted in no answers also.

I’m having the same stalling and starting issue on my 2011 Jeep Compass. I changed both sensors and it’s still stalling. Does anyone know if the relearn procedure is required?

    • @lokki52808

Normally if the problem persists after you replace the sensors it means that you need the timing on the vehicle to be redone.

Don't take this the wrong way, thank for helping others but man your engine compartment is a mess, keep it clean and always clean before doing any work especially if your going to post it on you tube.👍

Actually go from the back and the bottom it’s not stupid it’s easier you don’t have to take nothing apart

I agree that under the car for the crankshaft is much easier. The camshaft is easier from the top. I did all of mine and the guy showing the crankshaft from underneath was a lifesaver because I could never have done it from the top.
