This group could be bigger, but the company's poor management somehow slowed down their rising popularity .

But they seem to do a bit better since SLAY.
Not comparing the music, but this approach is kinda similar to Dreamcatcher. The regular world tour and summer comeback with the darker concept is a Dreamcatcher thing.
It's working for DC and I hope it also works for EVERGLOW.
This song is IT. Love that they didn't go their usual "club banger" way. It's giving me alot of Purple Kiss' Cabin Fever album vibes and I absolutely love it.

Agree I feel like a lot of people are missing the story and he described it perfectly. People keep saying they should have went super creepy and more gore but that wasn't what the story was about and I feel like people missed that.
That is the least EVERGLOW song the group released yet but I loved it so much. It probably is my favorite title track from them.

i think you're one of the few youtubers i've seen so far that has picked up on what's happening.
the whole ex name being flashed on the phone in many shots, the flatline into the blood pooling underneath the phone! you even paused a frame where i never noticed the IV cord wrapped around them like life support like you had said. many kudos for this great analysis!
Awesome reaction!! I've never listened to everglow but love the song, the concept really grabbed me.
I got a totally different interpretation when I first watched. I feel like in the lyrics they are talking about themselves and perhaps how they are treated online and their current place in the industry. The stuff you usually hear about groups you don't stan tends to be negative, eg. they fell off, flops, bad company etc. That's what I think the phones represent. But they are persevering despite the hate and mismanagement. Antis drained the life from them but they're still living.

I love how the director chose a different approach to visualize and represent the Zombie concept.
This is similar to Marvel Zombie, the plague itself is not a biological approach like the old style, but a cosmic thing. It really suits the EVERGLOW concept in general.

Great analysis DG, as always 👍 It makes me appreciate the song a bit more.
I'll be honest in saying that I was hoping for another one of their hard-hitting, catchy af, pop songs. But it's nice to see them try something different. Still, I missed some sort of highlight.
The mv was great though, vibe-wise and theme-wise. But all the white wigs and them looking the same are both cool and not cool at the same time for me. It makes nothing stand out (again). Can't really say: wow, I really liked that 1 outfit or hairstyle.
Personally, I liked the b-side "Colourz" better, but it was good to hear you say you really like this song, and I hope there are many, many other people like you, because this group deserves so much more than the shitty promotion their company gives them. At least the mv had some budget.

They have such a big potential but their Company just sucks.... About this comeback Its not my favourite like I love the Video and their Outfits but that Chorus.. We will not be friends but I do like the "Ra-Ri-Ra-Ri" part lol but at this Point I am just happy that they had a comeback
