When we have had drought-inspired water restrictions many years ago, I used “gray water” from my kitchen sink to water balcony flowers. Use dish pans to wash & rinse, dip a pitcher to collect used water, & water the pots. As long as there is no bleach or peroxide in the dish soap, most flowering plants will be fine. Not sure about vegetable or fruit-bearing plants. Best to check with a county extension office as to ‘food safety’. One of my apartment community “neighbors” actually reported me to management for having flowers on my deck despite restrictions. I had the manager come in & see my process, and she passed it on to everyone in the complex if they wanted ‘posies on the patios’. Happy Weekend Everyone!!

Hey How are you doing I’ve been busy Cleaning up and Cleaning out in my home oh lord I went to Hobby Lobby and I got two New end tables Antique white 😊. and I got more fall decorations and Christmas decorations Now Iam ready to decorate my home for fall and Halloween and Christmas ❤ hmm I have not slow down. Doctor wants me to slow down. I Love staying busy and helping my sister You are a Blessing. to me ❤❤❤ oh yeah. Iam opening my blinds up and my Curtians too 😊 Thank you so much for motivation❤. I love your videos. They are so helpful and informative but also calming and motivational. I’ve gained so many tips and ideas from you. I tell my husband, “this is the way my CA lady does it” or “this is the same one my CA lady has”, etc. I usually watch your videos on Saturday morning with a cup of coffee. Sometimes my husband is in and out, and will occasionally sit with me. The other day he made me smile bc he was cleaning with 2 microfiber cloths and said, “Great ideas from our CA lady”. So - I guess ‘my’ Is now, ‘ours’. 😊 We now both claim you ❤

I wish I had someone like you teach me early on how to maintain a home. You're simply amazing! I would love to hear more about the diet you follow. I feel that if I ate properly and actually got up and moved my body through house work, I'd be so much more healthy. I notice on days that I'm super motivated to clean I can easily hit my 10k steps a day. Other days I'm lucky to hit 4k. It's really a great thing you've going on! Thanks again for another great video, I've really come to look forward to these each week!

Fun hack I recently heard about avocados…Apparently keeping them submerged in a bowl of water stops them from further ripening completely! I don’t buy them enough to experiment, but maybe you could and let us all know. Hahaa.

Can you please tell me what cleaning gloves you are using? They seem to fit nicely and I would like a pair. Also, your dish rack is what got me hooked on the first video I watched. Now I can't stop watching any of them. You do such a good job and I am happy to watch a cleaning video that doesn't include toys, high chairs, or bunk beds. I'm too old for that. 🙂

I love your videos. I have a suggestion for your sunny pots to plant first week of October. Calendula and pansy. Google it. Purple and yellow, opposites on color wheel. Loves cool weather. Fall is primo time to plant a little parsley and cilantro as well. Just toss some seeds in with the flowers. No special treatment.

I used your link for the micro cloths . I kind of wished I had gotten the different color ones to use in different areas, but I got the all black ones. They are great.

I use microfiber cloths as well I couldn't tell u how many I have for instance when my husband sees me heading towards them in the stores he says u can't get anymore into the drawer I said it's ok il get them in .so when we're shopping he shouts no not more and walks away I just burst of laughing 😊

Another great video. I was planning on zone cleaning my kitchen next week…you gave me a few reminders on what I shouldn’t forget! Do your hummingbirds stay year round by you? Here in central wisconsin they are bulking up for their big flight…I added another feeder a few weeks ago to help them prepare, but they will probably be gone in about 2 weeks 😢
Hi Esther! It stays warm enough for the hummingbirds to stay here year round. But I’ll loose them from our yard if the feeders run dry. 😕 Happy cleaning!

We’re did you purchase your feeders? I like that the flowers are flush and not sticking out.

Hi there! We only cover the furniture when it rains. And we’ll leave it covered as long as there’s rain in the forecast. But it doesn’t -usually- rain a lot here.

Hi Randi, I apologise if you have already mentioned this in a previous video, but what do you use to clean your microfibre clothes? I was told you can’t wash in a regular wash using laundry detergent, is this the case? 🤷🏻♀️ Thank you.
You should wash them separately if you can. I use mesh bags to keep them from making contact with the rest of the clothes. Don’t use bleach or softeners, etc. You can use a plain laundry detergent, but make sure there are no additives. Heat can damage the fibers. Use cold warm or cold water and use a low heat in the dryer. Hope this helps.

How do you keep up with the doghair? I just got an Aussie and she sheds like crazy.
We brush them out every week or two. And we give them a bath every 2 or 3 months to release the under coat. The bath helps the most.
Thank you I have been brushing like every other day. She is about to turn 3 years old and her coat is changing since we got her 2 months ago. Her diet has changed a little bit. I think it is slowing down but man I have been sweeping up a couple handfuls a day. today was a deep clean da and it seems to be less. I am loving the breed and she is an awesome dog. So worth the hair.@@27foxplace

Have you noticed that everything she cleans she goes the extra mile? For example, I clean my coffee maker but I watched her clean hers and then looked at mine and decided I shouldn't be allowed to own one. 😞

It seems that you like to eat healthy foods, so I was surprised that you eat bacon-- did you know the World Health Organization has categorized bacon as a carcinogen-- just like cigarettes? Also, pigs are smarter than dogs and suffer terribly at factory farms!
All processed meats are carcinogenic. We don't eat a lot of it and we have only have it on occasion. 🤷🏼♀️ It's unfortunate that all livestock are treated so poorly. TFS!

Hi Randi, thanks for another motivating video! I think I heard you say you normally did your bacon in the oven. Does it splatter much? I have become addicted to the turkey bacon from Trader Joes and have been microwaving it, but it doesn't get too crispy that way. The oven sounds easy unless the splatter factor comes into play! I am going through a deep declutter here, but love your kitchen lamp and feel I might need to have it!
I don’t cook bacon because I don’t want the mess and odor. I enjoy it when I go to restaurants.
