I took my solo flight in a 150 on July 20, 1969. One in the morning and one in the late afternoon. That evening I watched the Apollo astronauts first moon landing. Will never forget that day and that happy coincidence.
Congratulations. I remember my solo flight, you will never forget it. You looked so happy on take off, the minute the wheels left the ground, you truly became a pilot. Keep flying and good luck with the rest of your training.
clearly women like this as its everywhere at their own choice! if you can not see this video for what it is then you are blinded by your own ideals! half the frigg'n world's economy is based on women's beauty for their own and men's benefit! it is a most natural thing to be turned on by such beauty as to something that makes us shiver by it's hiddenness. but there's always those who want to fight and change nature because of their ignorance!
Such a pretty smile! She made the scenery inside the plane as enjoyable as anything outside! Congrats on your solo as well! She looks so excited to be flying on her own!!
I remember when I went on my first solo. I could see it in your face. Your thinking "Holly shit, Im actually up her by myself with no instructor" feel like you can accomplish anything. Well done, nice landing!!
Tyler Pratt My instructor was a large man. He warned me the 150 was going to act different with him out of the plane. All went well until landing. The decent rate just was not there. Did a go around on my first solo. Never will forget it.
I am having my first test flight tomorrow morning! Watching this got me amped. It's exciting to see women in aviation. "If she can see it, she can be it!" Thanks for posting this!!!

My Adrenaline was up for 3 or more days after my solo! Thanks for the memories “Sky Queen”!! Many happy and safe flights to you! Love your video. Thanks!!
I remember my first solo...Cessna 172....I wasn't nervous about flying it...more nervous about making the decision to solo. Once I started taxiing I found myself doing the same things I been doing for months....the plane was a passenger lighter so it took off earlier and reached pattern altitude earlier....greased the landing...flipped up my microphone away from my mouth and yelled out: "YESSS!!!"

I soloed in a Cessna 150 way back in '74. Thanks for helping me relive that event. I had two major goals, SCUBA diver and pilot. Achieved both in '74 in Phoenix.
Looked like some big bolts of lightning could have come down from those low hanging clouds. Great flight and your instructor did a good job of showing you the basics. Good luck on some heavy cross wind landings in the future. congradulations.
My first solo was one of the most thrilling moments of my life! Nicely done. You greased it on at the end. After a few touch and goes, my instructor just opened the door and said, "It's yours." We hadn't discussed previously on that day that I would solo. Oh, shit I was nervous but what a thrill.
On my first solo, I remember all my senses magnifying. I could hear things I never heard before like engine noises and the wind rushing by. It sounded like I had a door open, and then to top it off, I got cut off on my final by another airplane having engine problems landing on my runway with no radio. I was at 800 feet with flaps down and found myself flying over wooded terrain feeling very sick about the situation. My instructor waiting for me on the ground chewed the other pilot out with no mercy! What a flight!
What a lovely video! I remember my first solo flight! I was so nervous! Yet a day i will never forget! You will remember it for a long time! Way to go! You flew so well!
That look of "holy sh*t!" exasperation when you realize you're completely alone and airborne... priceless. I almost got there 12 years ago in a helicopter and this was a cool reminder. ;)
Just did my first solo several weeks ago; I don't have your smile but I certainly felt the same way you did when I left the Earth for the first time by myself. Thanks for sharing.
She was smiling so much that she couldn't even speak on the radio HAHAHA... She was held back by the joy and emotion of being able to make her first solo flight.😅🥳🎉💯👏👏👏💪
Congratulations!! Your first solo in an airplane is one of the greatest self-confidence boosters you can ever have...provided you survive, of course. ;) I remember my first solo in a C-150 back in 1974 like it was yesterday. I actually had to go around on my first final approach as a sailplane without a radio cut in front on me. Hasn't happened since. I hope you've kept up with your flying.
I remember my First Solo. June 26, 1983. After my Instructor jumped out, I couldn't believe how light the Aircraft was... It was fun seeing you experience that too. Good Times.
This is great! I made my first solo today exactly 50 years ago at Rotterdam The Hague Airport! It is a memorable event, August 18th, 1973...My dad forgot his camera but filmed my second solo. Today they can film your solo from the inside. I regret that I do not have my flight recorded...Lucky you!

I actually bought a plane and my wife went on to get her license. Keep flying, it's the only way to leave the rest of the world behind.

She looks so excited to be flying on her own!!
That smile says it all about the first solo! I will never forget that feeling!! Congratulations! (over a year late...)
I wont forget that first time feeling either, and with a hottie like this, who would!
I loved this. Took me back 30 years to my first solo at Bristol. I felt your elation! Thank you!

Seeing her so happy during takeoff made me happy as well!
