Hi there. I am seeking advice on where I might find resources for yoga practices designed with disabilities in mind? I'm a below knee amputee on one side (but use a prosthetic when exercising) and my other ankle and foot are currently out of action in terms of weight-bearing. I've tried adapting exercises like the sun salutation sequence for myself but just don't feel confident that I'm doing myself any good. If you know of anybody online or any vids that might be useful, that'd be much appreciated. I need to start moving around again, for the sake of my mind more than anything.
Sat Nam Li anne. It would be best for you to work personally with a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga teacher who can watch you and modify the exercises for you. I don't think there have been any videos designed for these kind of disabilities. I can ask some teachers if they would like to work with you - are you able to pay someone or are you looking for something free?
