    I am from the Ames, Iowa area and Coach Cael is the way every athlete should be, Humble. Just go watch him after he wins his own 4th National Title. I am an ISU guy and it stinks that we lost him just like we lost Gable but it is what it is at this point and we have a good coach building our program but I admire his success, the way he carries himself and his beliefs.

    he is not the tool that others coaches are.

      And they adding Lilledahl, Gibson, Van Ness back... it’s crazy how stacked they will be. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them land Jax Forrest either. I imagine Kayak goes to 141 and Van Ness 149. What a duo that will be

      @@RGrawWhat are you, Penn State PR? Welcome to sports. That's called coach speak and only reporters and people with sub 80 IQs buy into that bullshit. Of course the greatest college wrestling coach of all time doesn't care about records. Was never even a thought in his head 🙄

    • @bbb4ut
      @bbb4ut 4 месяца назад

      He cares about that record less than anybody in the country. Besides, it would be way too boring if PSU had all the records. Everybody is still chasing OSU (not tOSU) and Iowa still has more team championships than PSU. But Cael and Co. are catching up pretty quickly.
      What I don’t understand is why some of the schools that are trying to catch-up to PSU haven’t make offers that Cody and/or Casey simply cannot refuse. Nobody has been able to duplicate Cael’s success and that seems like the only way to actually do it.

    • @rodneyzaumetzer3626

      Cael takes a paycut/salary so other coaches can get more and stay.
