My sons wrestled and coach. My grandsons wrestle. They have had success and endured failure.
I love this sport because there is nowhere to hide. There are no participation trophies. You taste defeat and learn to work hard and bounce back. Well done Coach Sanderson and Bo. Congratulations to every participant in this event and to wrestlers everywhere. Keep it up. You are a band of brothers and now sisters also.

Growing up in Iowa, I have been a college wrestling fan since the 80's. I haven't watched a more exciting wrestler since Randy Lewis, until Bo Nickal. When he takes the mat, you don't want to turn away because you may miss seeing something spectacular. He may not be the GOAT, but he deserves to be in the conversation. Next step, go get the Olympic glory that you are destine for.

Bo is a monster. I don't know of ANY wrestler as dominant as Bo.......alotta legends but can't think of any that just whipped anybody and everybody put in front of him........yea Cael never lost but he was a technician who out-smoothed anyone and everyone.......Bo destroyed people, you can literally see top tier wrestlers shy away from moves because Bo was so good at locking you up and putting you on your back........im a Buckeye fan but Bo, GOAT.

Dicky Ball Spencer lee Is a product of the brands brothers I believe with all my heart that those are the best coaches on earth Cael has the best talent coming in if Iowa had that talent we would be winning national championships too

Prior to his arrival in Iowa, Lee was a 3X Pennsylvania State Champion, a multiple World Champion and owner of other miscellaneous individual championships. I believe he chose Iowa because the Brands brothers are a better fit for Spencer in size, attitude and style. For Spencer Lee, the Brands brothers are his best coaching option. I'm confident that Spencer would have done just fine under the tutelage of Cael at Penn State, too, or any other reputable collegiate wrestling program. Spencer Lee was great before the Brands brothers. There's a reason Cael Sanderson is the best and most successful college wrestling coach. Cael had to start from ground zero his inception year at PSU. His style, personality, demeanor, training methods, discipline, positive attitude and accolades attracted the best high school wrestlers to Penn State. Cael is the primary reason why Penn State is NCAA Division I Wrestling TEAM NATIONAL CHAMPIONS 8 OUT OF 9 YEARS PINNING AND WINNING. Wrestlers want to wrestle for Cael to be Big Ten Champions, NCAA Champions, World Champions and Olympic Champions, along with being good stewards of Wrestling and life. The best wrestlers want to wrestle for Cael Sanderson because he can guide them to the most successful careers and more championships. Just like back in the 70s, 80s and 90s, the best wrestlers wanted to wrestle for the best coach/program, Dan Gable. Don't deny the greatness of Cael Sanderson, just like I would never deny the greatness of Dan Gable. Give credit where credit is due. Cael Sanderson earns and deserves respect, along with championships.

Dicky Ball Cael was great obviously and a great coach his resume speaks for its self he’s the greatest college wrestler who ever lived hands down I totally agree on you with that one but from a coaching view he’s areally great coach but I’m not so sure that John Smith. Tom Ryan and Tom brands are just as good there all at the top year what separates penn state from everyone is there unbelievable talent it’s insane how much you guys get to chose from. Btw I was pissed when nico beat Gilman I cried but nico is so flexible
