I am surprised that Deathstroke was never adapted into the DCAU. He could’ve been so good in the TV shows.
His exclusion was so there wasn't conflicting with his version on Teen Titans. He couldn't be as badass as he was on TT. At least, that's my guess!
Deathstroke would had to be toned down to the same level as Teen Titans counterpart.

I'm intrigued about how they're gonna work Jason Todd into Batman's past because in the show from what i've always heard the Tim Drake in the New Adventures was a mixture of the two Tim and Jason and now Jason's gonna be in the continuity as I said can't wait to see how it plays out. Deathstroke next!!! Awesome!!
Oh yeah I forgot about that was the case.
@Outlaw By Nature It's less about being Robin and more about his origin. Tim in the DCAU is pretty much just Jason. Maybe they will do some retconning.

I don't see any relation to Red X in his look. Sorry if I'm missing something.
I see red no white streak in hair personally like to know what happen to him is he same original universe return from dead, did someone turn him in evil
@@dragonball3166 yeah, it's red, but the streak itself is a nod to the white one, and it was originally going to be white in concept, shown by the DCAU Jason Todd figure.

Ignore all of my grammatical errors in my Comment: I would just like to say, "Thank you" to all of you at Variant Comics who put together an episode each each week, sometimes more than once. If anything can get my mind off of what is wrong with the world today, it's this channel.
Grammar errors who cares only people you will piss off about your grammar are English teachers people want to cry about grammar see a lot of that crap in text messages you won’t get arrested for grammar errors who cares as long people can read your message and know what your talking about all that matters in life never grammar errors was crime next time see police officer I ask how much is ticket for grammar errors officer do I need court for it will I get life sentence

I wonder if they will take inspiration from the "Slade" version of Deathstroke from the Teen Titans series, since the Teen Titans universe and the DCAU are pretty close thematically and stylistically, even if Teen Titans is clearly more Animesque.
Midori Natsume I saw preview of his mask for this it will be close to what he looks like in comics pirate gloves, pirate boots maybe maybe yellow underwear over his costume but I do know it is yellow and blue in this series

This comic series brings all the animated experience back to life. I expected no less from Alan Burnett and Paul. Those guys rock!!
What made me so excited about the DARK Knight Returns being in Batma TAS was how well they animated the story and used Robocops Murphy as Bruce...but also kept him for the DC Animated movie!

Well you can say the DKR suit was the ver 1 armor for what Bruce would develop later that was used in the Bats Beyond rematch with Inque.

Under The Red Hood DCAU adaptation , oh yes!
at this point I really do think batman adventure Continues is post legacy because why Batman develop experimental tech for the purpose of fighting Superman, because Bruce notes in the issue that he developed the green Kryptonite charged in order to break whatever mind control Superman was under. I think it'll be a slight variation on under the Red Hood because don't think Jason died in the DCAU because that would completely undermined what happened to Tim in Return of the Joker which is considered the dcau version of death in the family, I think it's more likely jason had a falling-out with Bruce because of his temper, I suspect it would be something similar to the flashback that we see and under the Red Hood where Jason Todd severely injured a criminal which prompts bruce to realize that Jason's too hot-headed and he needs to bench him until he can get his temper under control of course Jason doesn't take it too well and runs off Vanishing Without a Trace given this comic likely takes place in the late 90s early 2000 it's a very hard to track someone down at that time.

Deathstroke was technically part of same universe as btas. There was a crossover episode with static shock where Batman tells static but Robin was with the Titans. As any fan of the OG Teen Titans TV show knows, in that show rather than being a Merc Slade Wilson was their most regular villain.

Crime Alley is also where Jason tried to jack the bat wheels.
I’m not sure if that’s crime alley, I think it’s where Jason was found as a kid trying to steal the batmobile wheels... not sure what the episode was titled but it’s from the animated series

Thanks for posting these. I went and download the comic and read the second one before I watched this. It is so good to have Batman the Animated series again. And I agree with you, I wish that the conversations between Batman and Superman in the DCEU could be like this. I cannot wait to see Deathstroke in the next book! I look forward to your review and reading book 3.

Diego Android That also took place in Crime Alley if I remember correctly. Jason found the Batmobile parked in Crime Alley and tried to make off with the tires

It really impacted me as a kid. It was lightyears more mature than any other cartoon I had ever watched. The movie is still one of my top ten favorite, even after all these years.
Thank you for this beacon of light in such a dark reality. Also, was Teen Titans not part of the same DC animated universe, because they had Slade/Deathstroke as a main villain.
I called it! I knew Superman was powering that robot. Can't wait to see what Jason does in DCAU. Same goes for Deathstroke.

I hope that just like the Dark Knight Returns armour even Hal Jordan (though he exists) is made important along with Barry Allen. It would be so fun to watch the OG Flash and the OG Green Lantern in probably the best DC universe.
I would die if this ever made its way to TV. I love being able to read it but it would be so cool if they could bring back the series
The Armored Batman has become a classic, just like the batmobile. Every single artist that dares to draw a new design for the armour and batmobile has to do the best to create an outstanding version of these awesome classics.

I just wished they made a prototype Beyond suit to help tie into Batman Beyond already. Even in Rebirth the connection is there, but never really used for some reason. I like the more form fitting suit that Beyond is instead of the overtly bulky and impractical DKR armor.

So under the red hood was kind of adopted for the back story for what happens to the joker in batman beyond with Tim as the Robin wasn't it
