Floor's first band 'After Forever' was the support act for Nightwish in 2002. Tuomos was immediately impressed by her voice and has not forgotten that. When 'After Forever' stopped playing, Floor founded her own band 'Revamp'. When she was asked to join Nightwish in 2012, she kept her own band Revamp on. At one point in 2016 it became too much for Floor to play in two bands. That was the end of Revamp. Greetings from the Netherlands

This one of the points, she was on Tuomas Radar. ReVamp is Floors Band, but then the Band breaks, and Floor fall ina deep Burn out (Depression). Then, Nightwish save Floor , and Floor saved Nightwish

Floor is recruited in 1997 at the age of 16 as a backing vocalist for the death metal band After forever. When they released their first LP in 2000, Death became a symphonic and Floor became the main singer.
In 2007 the remaining founder became seriously ill and the band broke up in 2009. The later Northward Album (Hard Rock) was created during this time.
In 2009 she founded ReVamp. She previously composed the first LP with two partners and then occupied the band. This song is from that time. Because of her burnout she has to take a break in 2011 and can therefore step in as a temp at Nightwish in 2012. Parallel to the Nightwish Tour, she is working on a second album, releasing it after the tour and continuing to tour with ReVamp. When she entered the studio with Nightwish in 2014 she planned to do something with ReVamp again afterwards. But that never happened and the band broke up in 2016. Nightwish killed ReVamp.
In 2018 she released Northward, in 2019 she started her pop solo career.
She later takes off her jacket:
ReVamp - The Trial of Monsters Live at Graspop (2010)
In her solo program she has also used ReVamp songs:
Floor Jansen - Sweet Curse (ft. Henk Poort) (Live)

Now you need to listen to Northward "When Love Dies". It's Floor's project with Jørn Viggo Lofstad of Pagan's Mind. Very hard rock. It was a project that started in 2008 but was put on hold for many years (2017).

Floor didn't leave ReVamp when she was asked to join NW, it was her band, she was the leader and did all the work, finance, promoting, song writing, etc. She started the band all by herself after After Forever fell apart. Also, the many work with ReVamp had put her in a burn-out situation, so she had to put all activities on hold. Only when she had regained some new energy was she asked by NW to come to the USA. Initially, she would only replace Anette Olzon for the remainder of the NW World Tour. Only at the end, after she became a regular band member at the end of 2013 and she couldn't combine it anymore, did she disband her band ReVamp.

@@CVTECK1FYI: Floor Jansen (pronounce Yahn-Sen) is Dutch, lives with her husband Hannes van Dahl, the drummer of the band Sabaton and daughter in Sweden. Floor was born on Februari 21st, 1981 in Goirle the Netherlands. At the age of 16 she started her career (initially) just as the background singer from the Dutch metal band ‘After Forever’ in 1997, but real soon she took over the lead until early 2009 and the band fell apart. Parallel she studied at the Dutch Rock Academy in Tilburg starting in 1999 where she graduated in 2003 and spent two years on classical training with the National Conservatory. She studied Musical Theatre and one year Opera. She plays guitar, piano and flute and has completed 12 years of music studies. She’s a Light Lyric Soprano and her vocalrange runs from E3 to D6. In addition to her activities at After Forever, she gave singing lessons.
On May 5, 2010, she presented her new band ‘ReVamp’, which was disbanded in September 2016. In August 2010 Jansen was a guest in the TV program De tiende van Tijl. In that program she sang an aria by Puccini. From October 1, 2012 (while she was within ReVamp, but recovering from a burnout) Floor replaced Anette Olzon as the singer of Nightwish halfway their Imaginaerum World Tour. After one year (shortly after the Wacken Open Air festival concert 2013) on October 9th 2013, it was announced that she was to become the group's regular new front singer.

You heard the real Floor. After Forever and Revamp she wasn’t hold back. I still hope Tuomas writes something in this style, more heavy then ‘Yours is a empty hope’. My dream is that she growls ‘Master passion greed’, but that one will never be performed live (but then again we also thought that of Alexander the Great by Iron Maiden) Try some more Revamp or After Forever 🤘

Like unfolding a enormous huge Swiss Army Knife.
She shows most of her 'tools' in this song.
Operatic, Belting, Siren, Growls, Windmilling, ...
But i miss her warm soul and her devine stage presence, some kind.
