But you missed Meredith getting hit by the car and having rabies, and Pam hurting herself at volleyball (only to find out she’s pregnant), Dwight diagnosing himself as sterile, Angela having a “preemie,” would’ve loved to see your take on those ! There was just a case in Indiana where a man saved his daughters life because of the office scene. When they were doing chest compressions, the man remembered the scene where they have to do the compressions to staying alive, and he did that to his daughter. She was able to live. Thank goodness the scene was accurate for the situation or else it could have gone sideways!

    • @faithssb

    • @KDragoness
      @KDragoness Год назад +2

      Same here! Most people don't consider putting in a warning, and it ended very poorly for me watching anything on TV or online. I am more in recovery now than not, but it was super nice to see the warning. I still can't handle it at all in real life, but I no longer flip at any mention. I used to full on panic, injuring myself, others, things around me, screaming and fleeing as fast as I could, and my mom would have to work for hours to calm me down. I'd just scream and cry and shake and couldn't talk and could not process the emotion so I'd lash out. I still take off running and go mute and occasionally scratch myself when encountering it in person, but I calm easier and don't get violent. It just got (and still does get) embedded into my mind. I don't know why I react like this, but I'm doing my best.

    I'm in the Army. One year, we were taking our annual physical fitness test and a group were doing their sit-ups. All of a sudden we all just heard a loud smacking sound and "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh". A guy doing sit-ups had collided heads with the person holding his feet. The guy went on to try and do the two mile run afterwards and collapsed on the ground. The reason he continued the test is because if you fail the test under any conditions it gets noted and you risk being discharged from the military.

She called them her burrito babies, and they absolutely loved it. When we had our son, she didn't produce any milk, and a lot of the hospital and pediatric staff made her feel really bad about it.
