I don’t know anything about gymnastics so just a question for the knowledgeable, is there any gymnast in the history of gymnastics who ( in their prime ) have posed a threat or even beat Simone’s dominance in the discipline that is gymnastics ?
Ibrahim in 2013 katelyn ohashi beat her in the AA at the American cup.
She’s never lost since her first senior elite competition at the American cup in 2013

Simone struggled with self-confidence regarding her gymnastics circa 2013 (only natural for a 15/16 yo girl) so she was very nervous during meets. I believe Ohashi and Ross beat her in 2013. She got a sport psychologist that helped her with this issue and she has been dominant ever since. Her difficulty level in the AA has always been really high tho. And it's only gotten better with time.
It's hard to compare but if you were to compare any gymnasts at their prime vs Simone at her prime (aka right now IMO), Simone still wins.

nadia was better, i know how good simone is but she hasn't figured out the landing, she's taking 2 steps everytime, you cannot skip on the landing, i swear when you watch the 14 year old nadia comaneci, she has the perfect landing everytime i see her videos, for me nadia was and still to this day the best gymnast ive ever seen.
