Sig. If I was you I'd lay a few lines but not all just in case and move a bit south for the rest. Worst case you lose two strings. Best case there an amazing two strings and the rest are avg/lower quality. I think would avg out to a decent haul.

@@niklaslund2204 Well, that's that way it should be....... When I went thru I worked construction all summer, just to see the money evaporated when I signed up for classes each year. During the school year I always had at least two part time jobs all the way thru plus cut pulpwood every weekend. Dunno what little rich boys did......

I worked thru seven years of college to get a doctorate in organic and biochemistry....then sold my soul to Dow Chemical until I couldn't stand their business practices (damned Agent Orange killing our boys). I did every dirty and dangerous job on construction because I left home at 15 years old and earned my way from then on.. I would have liked to try the work you do but I'm 76 years old now....tired and retired. Keep ahd Faith, mate. Thanks for the response. Tom P.S. I like your uploads.
@@tomnekuda3818 Denmark, we do have a little high taxes. 40-42%. But our tax includes health care, free education and such. We also have certain laws that require company's to pay you farily. A normal mcdonalds worker gets 22-23$ an hour. 25-31 days paid vacation every year, 1 year paid parental leave and such.

What I can't figure out is why they go crabbing in the cold weather with ice and snow, do they fish in the spring and summer or not
No they don't only allowed in winter it's the law And it's crab only. And certain kind of crab only is allowed And it's the most money when it comes to fishing because it's the deadliest also Crab fisherman boats are made only for crabs not fish. Different weight and different sizes and different catching nets. If you watch the newest episodes on sid going to Norway to try and find a crab boat it explains everything. The norway end up giving him a fisher man boat instead of a crab boat
Certain species are best to fish in winter or they congregate together. Also you cant fish when they are spawning. No pregnant crab allowed, you want all the babies to be laid for next year. Plus as mentioned there is much more into it law wise.
Also they did fish for black cod with crab gear and killed it this year. But its a litmited as to what you can do with a crab pot.
These crabs don't like warm waters lol why it's called deadliest catch its during winter only..lol
Crab season is only in the winter time. Summer,it's halibut, salmon,clams and shrimp.

Idk if it’s necessarily greed. The pots they put down are REALLY expensive and if he can’t afford to replace them atm or something happens it could end his season.

Never understoon why these guys havnt made something like a carbon fiber pot. It would save a ton of weight, more gas, more fish.
You need weight for the pots to reach 300 fathoms, carbon fiber pots wouldn't sink as far as they need to.
