Great hunt! My blue jellies have acclimated well. Multiple females are all berried up! Thanks again!
Aweeome to hear 😊👍
I enjoyed the treasure hunt😁thanks mark🙂👍🏻⭐️
Thanks bud 👍
My Bloody Mary’s produced a number of Rilli and fish bone patterns. And one completely white
Nice, I have seen some blues and even 1 blue rili come out of my bloody marys. Oddly enough my reds have never thrown a rili or a blue shrimp on their own. Had to mix them in with the jellies.
Great Hunt, Jellies are looking good !
Thanks man 👍😊
Looking good. I found a red rilli in my shrimp a couple days ago.
Nice 👍
You should try mixing Bloodymary with blue dream I heard that they will mostly produce culls but every now and then you will get PURPLE!!!! This comes from the Bloody Mary’s red skin and the blue dreams shell
Maybe I will try it some day, not sure how repeatable a purple shrimp is though. Someone's gotta keep trying to succeed
nice they are looking good
Thanks man 😁👍
That one looks like perfect red riding hood.
Lol yeah, I am starting to get all the iterations of reds, red rili, blue red rili, and most everything inbetween. Kinda cool seeing transitional shrimp.
You should try also green jades and red cherries to make chocolate shrimp! Also try snowballs and green jade!
Not sure greens and reds would go together. Best bet to get chocolate shrimp is to line out some of the chocolate culls that bloody mary shrimp produce.
@@MarkShellyAquatics yep, bloody Mary also works great and the snowball and green jade worked for me!
Another cool video.
Thank you 😊
Comment at the end
Hey buddy great video. I had ordered some green jades and bloody Mary's Saturday was just wondering how the weather was your way? No worries if you needed to wait to ship. Gonna be cold my way this weekend! Anyways Merry xmas to you and your family!
They went out Tuesday, you should have got a tracking email. If you did not you can send me an email.
You keep bristlenose with your shrimp and it doesn't bother them at all?
Nope, not even a little
@@MarkShellyAquatics I am starting a colony with a few shrimp and I was wondering if I could have a bristlenose duo in there.
@PUTTY i would just make sure tank is at least 20g, when will get bigger than you think, males can get pretty good size
how do you do that, so many shrimp 🤔 with me the whole neocaridina hardly multiply, although I have very good water parameters. total hardness 8 carbon hardness 5 and ph7.9 they just don't want to with me. I'm actually considering taking osmosis water and a gh/kh+ salt. my Caridina multiply better in my salted osmosis water than the neocaridina in tap water 😆
Believe it or not I had 20 neo in my tanks I don't check for water parameters. I just do 10% water changes every week. And they breed like crazy. I don't know
It more than likely has to do with whats in your water that you're not testing for. More than likely. Neos are adaptable when its comes to hardness, but not adaptable to things that are toxic to shrimp.
@@MarkShellyAquatics I've thought about something like that too, there's something in there that you don't like. thanks for your help 🤗
Hi Mark. What temperature do you think is best for getting neo's to mate regularly?
I shoot for low 70s, but high 60s and high 70s is fine too lol. Higher temps mean more problems. As long as they are 67 and higher they breed. Just grow up slower and eggs take longer to hatch in cooler temps.
1st🙂👍🏻
