You put me in a state of awe. I have experienced true love and you have helped me connect with God. Your music is the greatest gift on Earth. You’re a literal magician. You are so legendary. I’m extremely grateful for every moment you’ve impacted my life!!!!
I am extremely interested in the creative orchestration techniques that you used including the descending Shepard’s tone, the modified flute timbre, and the inventive use of a bass drum. Also, I’m beyond excited to hear that this album will be similar to Calling All Dawns in its use of leitmotifs. I can’t wait to make a catalogue and analysis of this one as well!
What an amazing intellect....I love his passion! I need to buy the album so I can read all of it in succession. I love the album, and Sogno di Volare is gorgeous.
I usually sleep with the Bose radio tuned to the local classical station that has quite excellent programming, especially during the overnight hours when the hosts have more flexibility to play music that isn't often heard during the day. In the early hours when I was in and out of REM sleep, I happened to hear Sogno di Volare and before hearing the introduction of the music. I turned up the volume to catch the name after it concluded, and have been online since then discovering the mastery of Christopher Tin. Discovering new music is such a deep intellectual experience, and as a licensed pilot, and a humble human, getting turned on the this music is a great way to start a new year after the awful one we just endured. Hearing music that captures the spirits of man's quest for the sky and the universe is truly a quest with no bounds, and his music makes the experience a great one to enjoy (and one that brings tears to my eyes from the pure emotional intensity!)
Damn, Chris, this is brilliant! Thanks a lot for giving us a glimpse into your thoughts & experiences, this makes me appreciate your music even more. I am very much looking forward to the album release!
Well we had actually tried spreading the stereo image wider on the mix, but it just wound up sounding distracting. Maybe we’ll do that in live performance.
Ahhhhhh! So excited. I've been listening to a lot of horror and, idk, intense sounding orchestra pieces, so this is sounding right up my alley. Can't wait either way though. This is gonna be good.
Wow. I came in to this video hoping to find the lyrics to the second quarter of the song (after the first falling, but before the reprise of Sogno di Volare). Still don't have that, but there was a ton of other fun stuff here! I especially loved the bit about how the bass drum makes that cool effect. I don't suppose you'll have sheet music available for this song? It's a great vocal piece to practice with my daughter, to help her learn pitch, harmony, timing, and to practice expanding her range. She's still in grade school, so we're just starting. May as well start with a piece we both enjoy, right?
Not a percussionist myself, but I heard about the rubber ball + drum thing and it's interesting that you decided to implement it. This album is shaping out great!
Amazing work, Keep it up. Greetings from Fellow singer, actor and musician. Beautiful score. Can you do any works in Cantonese by any chance?. If yes would love to hear. 👍👏
As an Italian I can say that is beautiful that you've used two Italian geniuses, a scientist and a poet, for your works
I can't wait
We all can't
My God, Christopher, I never would have expected bringing in Dante here! Please, please keep these making-of vids coming!

The background music is already kinda terrifying. I can't wait for the song
The visualizer gave me chills and this makes me appreciate it even more, love all that you’re doing for us fans!
I can tell from sogno di volare that this album is going to be the one. It's the one. The one.
Taking inspiration from sources like that, with you as the composer, no wonder it's magical!

A kind of magic.
“You can’t overdo things. Like, at most I can use the Sogno theme one more time.” Tell that to John Williams 😂
I’m not telling John Williams *anything* about how to compose, LOL!
Your thought process helped me get out of some obstacles in composition. Pure genius!
Super! High five, fellow composer!
Really cool those images form the italian silent film, now I must investigate that movie.
Oh this is so cool, i'm really looking forward to the new album. (And i mean, só cool! Sounds amazing)
I cannot wait, but I will
I'm a aspiring composer and you inspire me so much! Please continue making music 💖

Alexa, played The Fall this morning, I've just started learning Ableton. I'm a guitar player. I've heard that somewhere before. Bådäss

Many more percussion tricks coming down the pipe!
Great!

Have not yet, but someday! Have to brush up on my Cantonese first...
Great vid! I wonder it will be a standalone album or you are writing it for something...
It’s a stand-alone album!
What program are you using?
Sibelius and Logic in this video.
Shut up and take my money! 💰
