Simmering is usually best for meats as boiling often toughens the meat. Thankyou for the recipe 😀

One tip for everyone, and this relates to any proteins, you don't generally need the bread in this type of mix if you use a reasonable amount of salt and mix only in one direction. Doing this lines up the proteins and they will naturally bind together, the salt is supposed to aid in this and apparently it will also make for a more tender meatball, burger, rissole or similar. Because of the binding that happens by doing this, the egg which is used as a binder should not be required either. Obviously the bread would help soak up excess moisture.

MaZEEZaM Not really, because the bread is used to increase the volume, i.e. makes more food and also (as she mentions) makes the dumplings a lighter fare.

Thank you! I used a German brand “Löwensenf Extra” but any regular mustard will do.

Köstlich! Danke schön. Meine Familie mütterlicherseits stammt aus dem ehemaligen Ostpreussen. Aber nicht aus Königsberg, sondern aus Tilsit. Schönen Gruß

Love your cooking videos! Is there any way to give the measurements in American measurements?

On some recipes I have made notes with customary measurements but it's difficult. The cups are totally unreliable and unprecise. But I guess you mostly need to know how much g translate into how many oz so you can do the grocery. I am planning on switching to a new website design and implement a measurement converter but it may take some time before that's done. Until then a conversion chart might help: Try this one 3.bp.blogspot.com/-vj-dj1163y0/UAjJNDVSqoI/AAAAAAAAAB0/WuJk53NDB-A/s1600/Conversion+chart.jpg
