Thank you, Theo. I needed this video. Im about to invest in one or the other. My $99 Milwaukee just isn't cutting it anymore with the 1.5 battery. It's not even the fuel model, just the regular old one. I only have one tool, 2 batteries, and a charger, so either way I go, it's gonna fine.
@@eastcoastken I still have my very first ones from Milwaukee at the time they were great especially for the money. But the Snap-on are better imo a little less speed then the Milwaukee high speed but more torque and that's been handy for me ... thank you for watching Ken
I am a diesel tech.. I have a ridiculous amount of Milwaukee tools, as far as cordless goes. In MY OPINION the snapon 14.4 ratchets are the best on the market. I have had a bunch of different ratchets over the years, there are quite a few better options than Milwaukee.. also if you own the snap on ratchets, you gotta get the 3/8 impact 14.4.. and the battery boots with magnets make these tools so damn handy.. just stick them to the side of the truck or the bottom of the lift arm
I agree with you the Snap-on 14.4 ratchets are awesome for sure. The CT861 is on the list now (since the ratchets are doing so well) ... thank you for sharing your opinion and thank you for watching
I have both Milwaukee and Snap on both and 18v and 12 and 14.4 respectfully. Not with standing price overall my Snap on is my go to. My biggest ripe Wwith Milwaukee is the ears on the 12v breaking off and on they’re 18v battery sliding forward, and then some cases falling off my impacts. Keep the content coming 👍🏻
I can't help that those things are up to each individual dealer. In the Snap-on tool haul video I explain how much I paid for them ... thank you for watching
I had one. Very solid built. Sold it, tried Dewalt and the new M12s, went back to the brushed version. Small, first nice in the hand, gets in hard to reach areas. Just perfect.
I not a Fan of Snapon cordless never have been. But the 14.4 volt line is solid. I have many of them them. Ratchets and the CT861 are my favorites. Never have owned an 18 volt snap on. Need to get ya a ct861 you will like it!
LUCKY for us we have so many good options nowadays. I use Milwaukee right now, have 3 different 3/8 ratchets, long reach high torque, long reach open box style and standard reach torque. Almost too many options, lol. The Snap on stuff is great and they also like to give us a half dozen options. We didn't even get into colors yet, haha!
Versus 5 years ago or so we are VERY lucky with all these choices all good ratchets in my opinion it's just personal preference ... thank you for watching my friend
Working with rusty bolts , more torque wins for me.. all the speed does nothing if it can't turn the fastener...The Head is always heavier the more length that is added 🤔😉
My 3/8 Snap On cordless ratchets, been trouble free for a couple years since I bought them new.My Milwaukee 1/4 long reach has been sent in for warranty once, selector stuck on me due to the anvil and hammer assembly was worn out.Was so bad I had to use a pair of pliers to change direction
