Thank you so much for the weight comparison between the iPad Pro M4 and the 13'' MacBook Air. This is a major deciding factor between these two and could not find this spec elsewhere.

Cable should be longer. My Samsung s9 ultra has a really long cable. Only Apple can be so tight

The iPad Pro 11 2024 comes with the charger also.
Support the decision not to include chargers automatically, there is enough e-waste around - but, for those that need / want one, they should provide one for free as an option at the moment of purchase... (I think that also should be the standard option when getting a phone and even a laptop)

Why does the US / Japan get a charger but the UK market doesn’t? The UK is more expensive as well 🙄 I bought this iPad in Tokyo last week and I’ve got a USB C power brick, albeit the wrong plug.

This tablet is awesome but its not for everyone though the m4 is powerful if i had the 2021 ipad pro m1 i will still not go and upgrade to it just because of m4 but yeah this tablet is supreme

saf please tell me something I'm currently using the iPad pro 2018 model, should i upgrade? my use case is productivity, notes and media consumption. I need to understand if the battery is really better than the 2018 model. I'm in 2 minds

This thin should allow leather smartfolio for either size.
Not having a charger in the box with an iPad is too much…I can appreciate it with the iPhone as people upgrade, but for many people they might be getting an iPad for the first time.

Can someone tell me who needs a ipad in general? The ipad pro looks very nice and I’m thinking of buying it but I don’t think I’ll use it often because I got a window laptop. I don’t even use my laptop that much, maybe only once a week?
It's a LOT faster and the battery lasts and amazing long time?

The IPad is a good tech and with the Magic Keyboard , it makes it that much better. It is closer to a laptop, but they’re holding back some upgrades that would turn it into a laptop, because it would threaten their IMac laptop. You can install windows on it. But it’s not for everyone and it’s expensive, so if you don’t think you’ll be using it, then don’t waste your money.

The 11 inch one is 5.3mm, so just 0.2mm thicker. Still very thin lol

My 2 cents.
Having had the M2 iPad Pro, I never once used the ultra-wide camera, also I've never, ever misplaced the Pencil.
Why does it look like you’re gonna eat it in the thumbnail?
My iPad Pro 5th generation has a bent on it near the charger port. Costing me 49 dollars to replace it. Good thing i have AppleCare

the display is fantastic now that its oled but it's about time the resolution gets bumped up. For being the bleeding edge of display tech, ipads are too lowres imo

It’d be nice if video would expand past the black bezel then have the entire screen a video. But when you hold it and use it, the video shrinks giving you a bezel to hold

The 2024 iPad Pro M4 is out. This is the 13" model. It has a gorgeous display and a powerful M4 chip. But you probably shouldn't buy it (with rare exceptions).

From what I’ve seen it makes the contrast and things more dull than the gloss display

The battery capacity is actually published by Apple. The 11” iPad Pro actually has a 9% larger battery and the 13” version has a 5% reduction in battery capacity.
Doesn’t make sense, why would the larger iPad have less battery, did you get them mixed up ?

I just watched Karl Conrad's unboxing and his did come with a charging brick. Could it be that apple is only shipping the charging brick to the U.S. models only?

For the amount of money Apple charges, they should include a charger. It would be nice if they didn't charge so much for memory upgrades and had a baseline storage of 512 gb.

Removing the charger and apple sticker from the box is an insult to the $200 price jump. They keep overdoing themselves with things the consumer doesn't care that much about, and then try to justify how much it costs.
