Another great video that made me laugh thanks guys. I pretty much like how you would fix zyuohger with having it in the zyuman world & Yamato being the "odd man out". plus having Bard & Larri being the mentors with the mechs being similar to either gingaman/lost galaxy or gaoranger/wild force. I think if the villans keep the game motif then Naria should till use a coin as the growing method because & this is just me I'm tired of the growing laser, is old & we need new methods of growing the monsters. I also agree that genis needs to be more menecing, make him more like mesagog from dino thunder & when the monster or henchman screwed up he'd torture them with his mind.
How i would fix Zyuohger 1. Bunglay should've killed Genis and become the main villain 2. Sela should've been the one to get Zyuoh Whale 3. Zyuland should've been more important 4. Fix the pacing 5. Kubar should've joined the Zyuohgers to fight Genis 6. Give the other Zyuohgers more focus
Imo they handled the 'outsider' quirk with the zyumans really poorly. Mainly because they abused it in almost every episode in some way. Especially on Mario. Now sure, this show has is small good sides. But yamato should've been the outsider, as you said.
I got one fix(and this goes to future Sentai as well) if your main Sentai team is five Rangers; don't let your main mech be three zords. I let it go with Kishiryu-oh because it makes up for it in design, but here with the blocks as zords, it just looks like a parody than official.
You know what would have been an interesting touch for Zyuoh The World, if the three Zyuman powers became separate ranger suits kinda like the Spirit Rangers from PR Jungle Fury. Have the spirit ranger suits actually break free from the corrupted The World, seek out and bond with other humans to better restore balance in power of their animal essences, while directing the three chosen humans to stop and take back their full powers from The World, as well as of course trying to save the human user. #justathought
@@Kepin151 because Yamato does not have any traits of his personality that make him too masculine to be adapted to a woman. Also, it would be awesome to have a female red tanger who is kind and caring to every living thing around her. Always tries to see the glass half full.
Personally I would have saved the Azold reveal till the end. Id have them destroy Gennis, the reveal of him being a hive mind, and then azold uses gennis's cells to unseal himself. Then the final battlr is with Azold, The God of Destriction
What if zyuohger pulled a magiranger and they use their zyuman powers to become their mecha. IE zyuoh eagle becomes an eagle or zyuoh the world manages to split himself into three so that he can becomes his three different mechs.
yall know the Gold Plates on the Red and black rangers but not on the other rangers bcuz the other rangers are human hybrids and the red and black ranger are humans
yeah i can see this channel isnt for me. I kind of despise hyper critical analysis of the flaws of super sentai because to do that you have to remove the wonder, imagination and suspension of disbelief it takes to really enjoy the shows in the first place.
It really doesn't. You can still have those things, then reflect on why things didn't work in the show proper. That's what the 'how we would fix' series is for. To make things, in our eyes, flow better than what was presented.
@@Aikijou have the guys critiquing the show created any great action shows of their own? I could understand your point if the critical analysis was from someone like Sakamoto who directed good Sentai/PR seasons before
@@bbeboda One does not need some great degree to critique. One does not also need to gatekeep. There are several reviewer channels out there like us without the credentials you mention. However, what we all do have is extensive background in theatre, therefore acting experience.

Never questioning something is how games and TV stagnant. 1) Don't critique something I like 2) You can't do better. I actually like Zyuohger, quite a bit more than they did, at least. And several of their points would still improve the show in my opinion. Mentor needed, isekai (wouldn't happen because of cost, but whatever), more actiony animal poses on their outfits, the bad guys just being big game hunters more like Bungley. Suspension of disbelief means we accept there is an alternate world of animal people for the sake of the story, not that flaws are ignored. One thing I will say: the cube zords grew on me even though my initial response was that they were shit. I do have to wonder why the cube zords get so much hate when they really aren't that different than the Shinkenger's Origami mechs. Still just a shape with foldouts that kinda sorta resemble an animal. And of course Shinkenger is often considered top 5 Sentai material.

It feels like Zyuohger was two separate stories unsuccessfully meshed into one.
How i would fix Zyuohger

If the cubes were to be removed, how about using animal designed totems or statues? It might make an interesting design for the weapons and mechs
It would be cool if that spanner was edited into a “T” with the screwdriver overlapping.
Gives it more of an identity as a logo.
I think this series would have been the perfect opportunity to introduce a lead female red ranger.
