I hope he appears in all the Robert Pattinson Batman movies, even if it's on a small capacity. Just like the position Cillian Murphy had in The Dark Knight trilogy.
Cillian was like less thsn 10 % in total of the trilogy, whereas Collin already had atleast 20% in the first installment
@@seamlessthorns9872 surely that percentage will decrease over the course of 3 films
I think his role will be bigger in the sequels since it wasnt that big in the first film , its possible that he’s one of the main antagonists in part 2
That would be so awesome
I hope Matt Reeves even gets a trilogy. The James Gunn slate hasn’t filled me with optimism and I’m worried that Matt is only getting to do one more movie.
I recommend everyone listen to the full interview on the podcast. So wonderful when they talk about both of their children with disabilities, and Colin takes an deep interest in learning about Clayton's son and their experiences and then speaks eloquently about the importance of inclusion. What a world we would live in if everyone had his same level of insight and sensitivity towards building an inclusive society.
I work as a teacher. "inclusion" is the worst thing ever to be imposed upon us teachers (and kids) who don't know how to handle kids who require special treatment plus 20 other kids (who all require special treatment). Sounds nice in theory but there are supposed to be special schools which should be specialized for these kids. Perfect example of ideology or wokeness gone wrong
I agree with the idea of inclusivity if it means that people with special needs can be treated normally in a regular sense. But I still think it’s good to have people with disabilities or special needs be in their own educational environments to teach and prepare them for interactions in the real world so it won’t be too difficult for regular people to communicate with them.
@@captainalpaka1551 Uh, how fucking DARE you. They should all be NASCAR drivers part time, while being President.
Got it???
I also recommend that you watch his one on one conversation with Jamie Lee Curtis. It was amazing.
@@captainalpaka1551 Theyre just talking about being inclusive in society. You know these kids grow up to adults, right?
I'm glad Colin's still around. During his dark times I thought the hard life would kill him. He got himself together, and his career has really taken off. So happy for him.
yeah he look strong and healthy
His Penguin was great. He dissolved into that character.
It was terrible. An Irish guy trying to pull off an early American gangster accent poorly.
@@PapagenoMF it was great fym? You do know the penguin is exactly that. His character was written based off of Mob bosses in the mafia. What was poor about his accent? You didn’t watch the same movie everyone else did
@@PapagenoMF hilarious, good one bro you're a comedian
He mentioned Mission Impossible. He would be great opposite Cruise again like Minority Report
Colin is such a legend and always will be.🙏
Ok?
I love Colin Farrell and I pray he wins his Oscar
HE is amazing! I loved him in Phonebooth. I believe Elvis is the winner (I hope I am wrong) but, Colin has an amazing catalog, he doesnt need an Oscar.
I really enjoy him as an actor. He hasn’t had a role that I didn’t enjoy (personal favorite is his “Coach” character in The Gentlemen). However, I don’t think he deserves the award for Banshees.
@@ComedyBros5 definitely deserves some award but nobody even comes close to Brendan Fraser in The Whale for the best actor award
Colin was excellent as the Penguin and am glad to hear there will be a show featuring him. I have enjoyed several movies that Colin has been in and look forward to more.
Michael Mann needs to cast this guy as Vincent Hanna in Heat 2 already (and Jon Bernthal as Neal McCauley). For those of you who haven't read the novel (getting a film adaption) by Mann and Meg Gardiner, highly recommend it 👍
Neal McCauley is dead though 🤔
@@amarin8600 heat 2 is a prequel and a sequel
What’s the book called? Just Heat?
@@jordanmckenzie8094 ahhh a prequel. No wonder. Thanks
@@jhg1051 Heat 2
I’ve always admired Farrell’s acting, he gives Everything no matter the role and can hold his own against the greatest of Thespians.
He ALWAYS credits Mike Marino. Always. Colin is a class act of an actor.
This dude has changed so much. He is so calm and relaxed now. An amazing performance as Penguin. Looking forward to the series.
I think the video might've been a bit off when it said July 2025. I'm not sure when this was filmed, but the most recent statement says 3 October 2025.
he probably just got dates mixed up, because Superman Legacy comes out around that date.
@@lichoscar That is correct. Mixed up dates. Moral of the story though....Colin is available. :)
I wish it was a summer movie. I believe it’d help the box office run
One of the all-time greats right here. He’s always seemed way too genuine for Hollywood, and he’s seemingly a very overlooked but highly rated actor. Ive yet to see him in a role I didn’t like, and I especially loved his character in The Gentlemen, but Penguin is hard to beat!
I met Colin Farrell when he was in Cape Town, South Africa shooting a movie. A good friend of mine did his hair for a movie. It was very brief but he seemed pretty relaxed and down to earth. One of my fav actors.
I'm excited for the show
I'm unbelievably excited for The Penguin series! I think Collin was exceptional as Oz. Watching his rise to power will be fascinating, while hopefully setting up his entrance into The Batman 2.
I worked with him on Horrible Bossed and he couldn’t have been a greater guy. Wish I had more than a few hours of time with him.
That’s neat. What role did you play in the Horrible Bosses production?
@@ComedyBros5 I was the Post Production Supervisor on it. We brought him in for ADR to Sony Studios and I remember that he wore an awesome leather jacket which he almost left behind.
Dude he was hilarious in that role. He has some of the best lines in that movie.
@@billybutcher4995 for sure!
Nice, wish i could meet the man one day
I can listen to Colin talk about Oz forever, his passion is so palpable 🐧🖤
His performance as Oz was one of my favourites of 2022, genuinely. So I'm very excited for the show and hope he does have a part in The Batman Part 2.
weird that I never caught an interview of him. His voice is just **chefs kiss***
The Batman: Part II Oct. 3 2025
He seems a lot more comfortable now than when you'd see him years ago. Good for him.
I could watch Colin F speak for days
give a raise to whoever the makeup artist was for penguin
There was exactly no part of hid Penguin performance during which i could tell it was him. Absolutely legendary. You can usually tell at least at some point, like Gary Oldman as Churchill for example. As great as that was, there was some points where i saw Oldman, not Churchill. That never happened here. Wonderful makeup and performance
He’s a damn fine actor and can do such a variety of roles. Not often you get that these days.
I just can't wait for Penguins show.
I really really REALLY hope that we see other more gangster-esk villains from Batmans rogues in it. Like Sionis, White, Thorne, Maroni. Hell maybe even a Wesker cameo would be AMAZING
I hope Colin Farrell returns for the Sequel
I feel like this interviewer kind of re-asked the same questions multiple times even after Colin said he didn’t know anything. Colin was really nice and gave him pretty clear answers and he just kept pushing for more. Take the hint, man!
Colin is a great actor and he was phenomenal as The Penguin. Hopefully he will be involved in more projects like Loki is in Marvel.
If anyone hasn’t seen seven psychopaths it’s another great Colin/ Martin McDonough film that I love.
I had no idea he was even the Penguin until the credits rolled.
Love this and love the content.
I would love to see his penguin have a show. You can’t even tell it’s him he’s such a good actor.
They are you didn't pay attention
@@figuerovapyro5806 They didn't say they're not pay attention
@@Scroteydada he didn't have to, it's obvious
@@Francis_Higgins ?
Interviewers voice is nearly as sexy as penguin
Woaw, i didn't even guess it was Colin in the movie !! Such great make up and performance
love him
Foi fantástica sua interpretação como Pinguim, desejo muito sucesso na nova série, parabéns ele é um excelente ator
That’s a lot of commitment to this character
Love Colin 💖💖
Dude he absolutely killed that role as The Penguin
I am just so excited for this show.
Collin Is a crazy irish,,,His irish reaction..Is very pure
Schön wie er jedes mal den Magen up artist lobend erwähnt:)
From an acting perspective, for me, Colin was the unsung hero of The Batman. I'm so glad he's getting a chance to do more with the character.
The first time I seen this man at his best was that movie w Ben Affleck called Daredevil. He did a awesome job as bullseye
I still can't believe how good he was. Wow. I thought it was another human in that role.
Banshees of Inisherin was PHENOMENAL man. Colin Farrell is a Powerhouse man
The trailer just came out for the Penguin HBO series!
He's gonna be like mrs doubtfire changing out his bodysuit 😁😁
Love Colin Farrell. Wonderful Actor
God i can't wait for the show
I love Colin Farrell, my favorite movie of his is PhoneBooth, my Dad love Colin Farrell more then me is one of his favorite Actor
When I was young I remember thinking that Colin Farrell was just another typical movie bad boy with handsome face without anything to deliver but I'm glad he has proven me wrong several times over the years especially with the new Batman, such a great actor and genuine nice person, can't wait for the show, he was my favourite character
Sounds awesome! Very similar to one of the Gotham Story lines.
I loved ip his as Bullseye
I don't patient to see Colin Farrell comeback again as penguin in the batman 2, i can't imagining fight between batman and penguin later 😍😍😍😊😊😊😊
That's not Colin, that's Ray Velcro
please, we all need more Evan Peters! 🔥😭🙏🏻 Especially in romantic movies!🍿 He’s on TOP now, so please, can we see an interview with Evan🔥??🙏🏻
I actually really like the interviewer, knowledgeable and still easy to talk to
Critters 4 remix😂😂
I love the way Colin speaks so much! I'm glad he is still a working actor! I admire him so much!
He needs to do one button up.
July ??? I thought it was announced for October 8
why are most of the promo visuals for this piece showing it upside down??? Are we in a barrel roll in an airplane or something?
I hope Matt Reeves gets a trilogy. It’s the only Superhero thing I give a shit about at this point. The James Gunn slate hasn’t filled me with optimism and I’m worried that Matt is only getting to do one more movie.
What are you showing me what is that when Batman showed the penguin the pictures

@@variety thank you
Muy guapo 😘 mi actor favorito
October 3rd.
He did a good job. He kind of was Robert De Niro but he was great.
Kinda sad and scared that matt is Not doing the show i think He should have the full Hand over all DC characters in His universe
He’s the producer on it, so he’s kind of a like Kevin Feige in this situation
There are lots of talented writers out there. I trust anybody that Matt trusts to write it
Matt is overseeing it and making sure everything is interconnected and flows and that there aren’t any plot holes
That would be impossible, bro is one man
I Hope The Batman 2 comes out at least a year earlier. 3 years is kinda bonkers to me.
He is nothing like The Penguin in the Batman it really feels like they are two people apart and not played by one person
Colin seems a little bothered by not knowing the Batman 2 was coming out
The Penguin show looks awesome, like sopranos on steroids.
I hope it’s at least R rated.
Make the guy who d make a good batman the penguin makes total sense
I've always thought that Colin would have been a great Bruce Wayne.
True fans know him as bullseye 🎯
He was terrible as Bullseye lmao
Come ooooooon what are ya showin meeee
Colin Farrell and Emilia Clark should have an eye brow - stand off. People would see lightnings and rainbows and unicorns give birth in the distance and stuff.
I 'd totally watch that !
He'd be great for mission impossible
Mitch's son becomes Robin I'm calling it
Colin Farrell….instant man crush
*Take it easy, sweetheart*
Bruh. It’s October 2025
When did he become Ted Lasso?
It will be a STORY about his rise to POWER, I wonder will COLIN FARRELL'S Penguin series be similar to TONY MONTANA in Scareface, viciously murdering anyone who stands in his way with his signature TRICK UMBRELLA. " Say hello, to my little friend ! "
Lalo? I thought you were dead.
Is it just me or would he make a good live action Omni man
2025 is way too long to wait
Batman 2 is October 2025, not July.
october 2025 not july !!! july 2025 is for Superman: Legacy !!
Bruh let him speak for ffs
Poor thing. Realized in real time that he wasn’t invited
He stole every scene in The Batman
He's obviously gonna be in Batman Part II and you'd be stupid to think otherwise
well the batman 2 isnt comin for 2 years and 8 months so im not goin to be thinkinbg about it yet
If Lalo was Irish
In another reality, he could actually be bruce wayne
