That 43/44 miles will get me to work for almost 3 weeks on a single charge at 58mph. The speed limit on the route I take to work is 35 to 45 mph so it's possible to go over a month on a single charge
From my experience, unless you disconnect the battery, you may lose up to 10% of the battery charge per week because the BMS monitoring the charge state of the cells is still powered up and working even when the ebike is powered off.
In addition to my previous comment, I own a Delfast ebike, which I bought 11 months ago and after 2,920 miles through wind, snow, rain and all terrains, I have had zero issues. I haven't needed to change the brake pads or tires yet. I have added an extended moto style seat/rack combo with side panniers from Delfast, which allows me to bring a charger, extension cord, tools, tire repair kit, air pump, with additional room for some shopping. Top speed is 51.6 mph. Range is 52 to 78 miles depending on whether I follow the legal limit or pin the throttle like the Inja. LOL. The Delfast looks like a dirt bike and it turns a lot of heads, because it looks super cool. If I had to do it over, I would still buy the Delfast, because it has Regen braking and one important benefit to that is, you don't have to peddle as far to get home, if your battery runs out. Regen adds voltage to the battery every time you use the brakes and that little bit gives you extra recaptured power to go further.
@@kebikes3650 l am sorry but you are sadly misinformed my friend. For that money I expect motorcycle grade brakes at least 90 miles of range going full throttle not 40 miles. My 1400$ e-scooter has a range of 50 miles at 20mph

Tighten up the chain! It is slapping!! The chains on the first batch of bikes were really loose. This Ebike isn’t as heavy as an actual motorcycle so the chain shouldn’t have as much slack as one. You should only have around a half inch to an inch of slack on this chain. Someone’s main chain already snapped because of this.
The chain didn't have much slack, but I'll check again to see if it needs adjusting. I think it's the pedal gears and the hollow motor case that's making it so rackety.
The seat doesn't look very comfortable, but what's really a bummer is all the gear and chain noise. How much better would this bike be with a belt drive?

The CyberX E-bike is very odd looking for sure and will definitely turn a lot of heads as you pass by. The strange look might grow on me after a while though. You either hate the design or love it. I like that it has proper motorcycle brakes instead of bicycle brakes. I like that the battery is easily accessible under the seat and I assume easily removable too, judging by the folding handle on top of the battery. I like that that it has a powerful mid-drive motor which, correct me if I'm wrong, might lack Regen braking. I don't think I like the long couch seat, which again looks weird. I like the seat folding to the side to access the battery. It would be nice if it had a rear rack and pannier boxes for some cargo carrying capacity. I like the large capacity battery and I love the multi-colored light show which is super cool. The headlight looks like it might be good, but you didn't test it for us. Can you pull the battery out of the bike and show how it comes out and goes back in? Can you take off the cover from the motor to show the size and kind of the motor under the cover? Great review and overall I like the ebike.
I have no issues with electric vehicles in general. What I do have an issue with is calling these style e-bikes motorcycles. It has pedals, it's a bicycle or at most a moped (eped? whatever). If it has pedals and 2 handbrakes its an electric bicycle, that's it. Same goes for the suron etc, they are made using mountain bike parts. They have hand brakes no foot brake. These are still not motorcycles, electric or otherwise. These are also in the electric bike category. There is a distinct look and flow that goes with an electric motorcycle. Think Varg, Altia, zero, hell even the ktm freeride. Those all fit into that category. Yes aesthetics are subjective, but if you are honest with yourself, you know a motorcycle by just that. Everything else is self justification. I have no problems with electrics, just make mine along the lines of those I named and we good. All said this is just my opinion and like all others it stinks to all but the owner. If I hurt your fifis, rub some dirt on it and keep it moving.

At the speed it can reach, isn't it considered a motorcycle? Or is it just the pedals vs. no pedals that determines it? Definitely faster than a electric bicycle is allowed to go. Looks like they meant for it to be ridden on the road with the turn signals and light/brights, etc.
Depending on local laws. I've seen a lot of Canadian videos with full size Electric motorcycles having pedals (powered by lead acid batteries), and they say it's so you can ride in the bike lanes and not need a license, but they can still go 45 mph when they want too.
