this looks better than the new dashboard, while it's true the new dashboard main's page is cleaner- everything else scrolling down is worse. So much locked pins and multiple game pass pins, how did the new update go two steps forward but five steps backwards
Idk if this works for series x too but I’m on the series s and it gives us the options to set a picture we want as a background straight Microsoft edge
Can you see if your friend has it or not like say I have it and will it tell or let my friends know like “I’m playing on Xbox one sx” or will it be like regular? Like the only way they can find out is if they ask?
Does the Series S also have the motion background?
Yes
how do you get rid of those three tiles beside my games and apps
Can I add more games on homescreen? It says “full” already :(
Why is everyone complaining lol I think it looks fantastic with the dynamic themes and color options
How do you change the color to that white????
The hud is exactly the same as Xbox One X, I was hoping for at least something different like the PS5 compared to the PS4 dashboard. I thought Xbox would do something at least more innovative to make Xbox players want to upgrade.
If something as trivial as an unchanged UI dissuaded you from upgrading, you didn’t want to upgrade in the first place
@@scabs2040 if you’re paying more than $1000 for just one of these consoles and it looks practically identical to the previous model, than that’s not worth $1000. You could get the newer models for $500 but that’s if you can even buy them in time before they are sold out. It’s a new console, show some innovation.
@@ExtremeKeonN The innovation is in the hardware for the price, and if you’re buying the consoles for $1000 that’s your fault and Microsoft shouldn’t have to cater to people who got scalped. Selling the consoles at $500 are a loss that’s made up for with gamepass and gold. The UI was updated in september in preparation for the new consoles, Personally I’d rather have a similar UI than having to learn a new one because if it’s not broke don’t fix it, that mentality is the same mentality that brings idiots to buy new iphones every year, because of meaningless tweaks. Having access to 20 years worth of games and native 4k HDR 60-120fps games with RTX (when it’s utilized) at just $500 should be enough to sell you on the new consoles, snagging a new console online is as easy as following wario64 on twitter and waiting to buy it, if you don’t get it try next time.
@@scabs2040 It's just a graphics update for $500, and that's a fact.
So why cant we swap to old dashboards and sounds like xbox 360 dashboard?
Does anyone know why the details change once I load in a game every thing is not as bright as when I was in the Home Screen
Hated the current UI for the xbox 1. Was hoping for it to be improved, bc I hate the tab inside a tab, inside a tab, inside a tab system.
Also does anyone know if capturing video/screenshots is improved? bc on the xbox 1 I remember you had to upload your recordings to the damn cloud (Xbox Live) then stream your video from the cloud back to the console to use the video upload studio. It was very, very, very stupid and one of the main reasons I love PS4.
Looks trash it's the exact same ui as Xbox one they didn't really try to make it feel new
U mind as well just get a xbox slim or something
Same as ps5, the interface is still the same to ps4
@@ASAPd_t look up the ps5 ui kid it’s not the same🤦🏾♂️
@@ASAPd_t you seen the cards and shit pinning them to your game you could be watching a film and playing a game or watching a zombies tutorial while playing fucking awesome!
@@conankay2452 that was a feature on xbox one when it first came out lol
I’m a ps player but I loved day of the tentacle I had a psnow free trial and I wanted a quick platinum but still loved
Hi. I dont have this option on my xbox series x please can someone help thank you
They didn't change it enough. They need a complete rehaul of it, because this is NEXT GEN. People don't pay for new graphics and speed, people pay for a new console experience.
This crushes the ps5 dashboard. Ps5 is cluttered and confusing with zero customisation
I’m an Xbox user but I’m sad that the ps5 has like cooler moving themes tbh and customization
Why would anyone ever want to use white mode??
If i find a good deal on the xbox one x, i’d much rather get that instead.
I like how uncomplicated the Series X is. Same controller, same dashboard makes it simple and unique for xbox fans as they won’t have to get used to anything else.
Seems Lazy to me. Xbox players aren’t mentally ill, if they make a couple good changes I wouldn’t have trouble re learning the Ui. I still haven’t memorized the one we are on right now and we have had it for a few months now. I always find myself scrolling through every tab to find ONE option it’s frustrating and this is from someone who’s been on Xbox since 2013 and still isn’t used to it
@@fizzley78 bruh, it’s easy to get used to, I got used to the dash in 2to 3 days, it’s simple, there’s no need the change the ui when it works
is crunchyroll still buggy as f on the series x?
Just got a series x to compare alongside my ps5 and I absolutely despite the UI. I hate the ads and how cluttered it is.
U can customize it
For sum reason I’m not able to find the tile transparency
I just want to make the tiles smaller i can't see the backgroumd i have at all because of how big the tiles are
my dynamic background won’t start. i’m on the series s and it’s not working.
does series s support netflix?
Everyone complains that the Series X doesn't use a brand new UI. It's almost like they forgot that the ui was changed recently. Microsoft has an ecosystem that they are trying to keep with a similar interface for customers ease of use... i believe
I had a dizziness watching this. 😵💫
My personalisation menu is different to yours and im on the series x
