There's actually a way to get soft edges with the eraser tool without switching to the airbrush subtract method, there is a soft edge option right beside where the correction is, you just click on that while you have the eraser tool on, and there you go eraser tool with soft edges.
Great video! Just a heads up for text, you actually can change the text after you hit submit if you don't like the way it came out by simply double clicking the text and that same edit window pops up again. This makes the tool more feasible to use. Your welcome!
Yes! Another way to edit text after you've already submitted it is by clicking the little cog wheel on the side of the text layer. It brings back up the same text window.
I just found your other MediBang video and it was so helpful I checked your channel to see what other tutorials you’ve uploaded!! Just started getting back into digital art and I rly appreciate these tutorials :)
I was like: I should improve in using medibang so I am going to see this video. Even if I never saw any tutorials for this app I realized I am really good at it :D I knew almost everything what was mentioned in this video! Yeyy this made me day better :))
Your one of the best teachers I ever had . Thanks for the videos you make you are made a big difference in my drawing And in my life thanks from the bottom of my heart ❤
Actually you can edit the text after you place it! If you click on its layer on the side twice the text settings will pop up again and you can change things.
you can change the text. look in the layer for the text and some thing will be on the side click it an the tab will pop up again with the text you can change it as much times as you want. you can even move it around
Thank you for this tutorial :) I'm a beginner with digital art (I've been doing traditional art for a while tho) and this was very helpful in figuring out what I'm doing!
Hey it is very helpful. Thanks for everything. I was just wondering if I wanted to add glasses to Kirby. It would be great to know thanks thanks thanks
I’m kinda slow but what is the selection tools used for like recoloring everything ? Moving things or ? But this video and the other were a huge help !
The selection tools are for selecting areas of your layer/drawing! You can use them to move certain selected parts or to colour the selected areas. The selection tools/functions aren't limited to do just one thing. Hope that helps clear things up 😊
Hi! Thank you so much! Can I also ask if you're familiar to Opentoonz 1.4? If so can you make a video about the basics... It's okay if you don't! It's really okay thank you.
I wish I had found this video sooner. 2 days ago, I accidently removed the colour window and I was exactly like how she said......like, ''Oh noo!! How do I get my colours back !?!?!''😅😂
What do you do when a pain tool is on the top and your erasers on the top and your I drop and all your other tools are on the very top how do I change that back?
winged canvas: says "you can't change the text after you make it" me, a person who uses the same program, but on mobile: hhhmmmmmm checks out (lowkey won't mention you can edit text on the mobile version at least)
Hi! I'm your new subscriber and i just wanted to ask. How can you fix the brush tool and eraser tool cuz mine is not working even tho i have this sign(🚫) on top (sorry for my bad english by the way)
Hi! Jessie goes over how to use the Shape Brush Tool at 6:32 -- hope that helps! If you're looking for something more specific, let us know and we'll try to help :)
whenever i try to use the text thing it does the same thing as when you use the lasso or box tool, (it turns blue) which is really annoying and i cant figure out how to use it properly
How to change to the eraser temporary.. u know.. if i click hold a button then will change to the eraser, if i stop holding the button, it will be back to brush Sorry for bad eng
Unfortunately there isn't a liquify tool in MediBang. The closest you can get to liquify is by using the function Mesh Transform which can be found under Select>Mesh Transform!
In my case, I have to flip my laptop with touchscreen to properly draw so I do not have access to my keyboard. Is there another way to use alt while blending?
Hey can you please help me ? I made an illustration roughly I am learning Digital art from scratch and I made a simple illustration but didn't added layers only used 1 layer and saved my work and I want to do some changes in that saved work want to erase some lines but the eraser is not working I can add more lines but can't erase the previous ones please help me
We're glad to hear that! Actually, this Tuesday we'll be releasing a new video with tips on drawing clothes (also taught by Jessie) -- be sure to look out for it 😄
really loved the first and this tutorial. but I have a question: is there a gallery of previous drawings? I had some problems with other software where it didn't show this kind of "gallery". when I work on a drawing maybe I have to stop because I am busy with something else and if I go back to the drawing I can no longer find the levels I was working on. it is as if the drawing were finished and it was just an image but I had not finished with that drawing yet. if anyone knows, let me know!
Hey, you still struggling with this? I can't tell if you meant layers by levels, or the drawing. But at the top of the canvas it should say Untitled, and you can have multiple when you open up more, and that stuff. But if you close the program it'll most likely auto-save the drawing you were working on, that is if you didn't just open the canvas - atleast from my experience of using Medibang for 5 years. Buut if you mean saving it, and coming back but it just being an image, like png or jpg, are you saving it as mdp?
@@inksssshheyy, as soon as I read your comment, I created a new canvas as a test, I tried to save it as mdp and it worked: the drawing appeared on my desktop as a small icon; then I clicked it and entering MediBang, I found all the layers I had previously created, which, saving as jpg or whatever in the past, didn't give me. so now, thanks to you, I figured out how to go back over a drawing and finding all the layers I was working on. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!!
You can check the box "fits in the following size" and set the dimensions to your canvas' original size to export -- you can also make sure your resolution is set to at least 72 dpi if you're just saving images on your device, and at least 300 dpi if you're printing. 🤓
At timestamp: 2:55 when you talk about the pressure opacity, I can't seem to find that option on Medibang for myself, anyone know why it isn't showing up?
I know this comment is a year old, and I don't know if you've figured it out by now - but it only shows up in Brush Control on G-Pen and the similar brushes like that!

You can change the text. You just have to double click the text layer and the editing window will open again.

Super helpful! Thank you so much!
Your tutorials really helps ^^ but, you know, you can change the text after it, clicking on the "wheel-thing" on the text layer

I could've saved myself a lot of time using the clipping tool instead of erasing individual pixels on a full-sized canvas
Hi there, great video but I was wondering how exactly you can activate the CMYK colour slider so you can paint with that instead of with RGB?
I wish I had found this video sooner. 2 days ago, I accidently removed the colour window and I was exactly like how she said......like, ''Oh noo!! How do I get my colours back !?!?!''😅😂
How can we squeeze and stretch the art

You’re an amazing teacher!! I just avoid the select tool, I still don’t understand what it’s doing lol
Hi. Can the color of the select pen change?
I get a clip studio ad from a medibang tutorial video-
Is there liquify tool?
How do you zoom in without pixels on android tablet?
great video! How do you save everything when your done to make it into a jpeg?
Where can I find the shape tools? I have some other tools in their places.
When I double click on the text I put down, I can change it for some reason
Is lasso fill not available on medibang?
Why doesn’t my window at the top look different? It only has some rulers or something

you use the g pen for the same thing I use the oil pastel brush for: blending, LOL. Aparently in this program textured brushes blend better xDDDD
How to make it only coler one coler
How to change to the eraser temporary.. u know.. if i click hold a button then will change to the eraser, if i stop holding the button, it will be back to brush
Sorry for bad eng
if you wanna blend you can also pick the blurr pen. i use it but i didn't knew that the g pen is also a pen for blending LMAO
Is there a brush tool in medibang using which the the color won't go beyond the lines of only the selected layer? 🤔
what happens when you close your color changing tool

How do I move things in the selection? Like I’ve selected now how do I edit the thing inside?
You can use your move tool after making the selection, or use Ctrl+T! 🤓
i accidently hid my window how to I find it?
Sorry , please my bucket tool doesn't seems to work again do you have any idea what the problem is ?
Hmmm it could be because you have "layer" selected instead of "canvas" in the option at the top.
