Was the side mount easy to install and are you having any issues? Looking to order a Evo + 1-1/4hp opener with side mount. Please share any info thanks
This one's been in for over two years, and my oldest side mounts have been in for 8+ years. There are a few things you want to be careful about in installation, such as making sure the c-clips for the pins don't catch on the rail, which can make them fall out. Also, the hinge at the bottom of the top section should be minimum 14 gauge--preferably 11 gauge--since there's a bit of additional force applied to the bottom of the top section as it transitions through the radius. Otherwise, I haven't had any problems from them.

Thanks! It's incomplete though, since the door manufacturer shorted us the top section, so the one in the video is just a temporary section.
