"I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle " the coolest scene in any movie, in my opinion.
Owning one in the UK, I don't know.
I done my test on a Harley Davidson via their rider test site in Builth Wells whilst on leave back in 1990. Great experience turn up do the drill and get your full licence four days later.
I bought a 1200 Sportster on the back of that as my first legal bike, then a Softail Deuce... then Buell caught my eye and need for handling, three of them. I still have one.
The one thing I found from the H-D bikes was their build quality, I wish I still had the Sportster that bike would ride through the season's and anything! Things like grease nipples on the steering head stem, old school but so practical.
Many bikes under my belt now, would I have one, yes.
I have gone to the dark side at the moment with BMW K1300S & K1600, feckin great machines.
    Great post gents👍🏻

Harley is high on the list for my big bike upgrade so keep these new bike videos coming, a great tool to figure out the bike I want. Also a side note, by me getting a bike it has got my dad wanting to ride again and he also put a deposit down on a bike for himself so we can ride together. I've owned 8 bikes, 3 which were Harleys. I just brought a 2021 Fat Boy. Love the bike. Hate the horn (sounds like vespa), the kick stand is so short it feels like the bike is going to tip over, the stock pipes are quite and the wind above 70 mph is very strong (need a windshield). Other than that this is a GREAT BIKE Love it the torque, the styling, the comfort. This is a really great bike.

My dream is to have a Harley, a Fatboy, but unfortunately I can't afford it, here in Brazil it costs $20,000 and it's impossible for me, unemployed, doing small jobs and supporting a family. I met a person here in Brazil who received it as a gift from an American businessman, he actually gave the value of the bike and he bought it, I found this attitude a dream, I watch videos about Fatboy every day and dream, today is the best I can go arriving by a Harley Davidson.

Bought a '21 to replace my 103" 2014 Heritage Classic. Got the extras - like yourself. The mirrors, chrome switch surrounds, domes on the front wheel nuts, seat/sissy bar (passenger seat is separate with the stock - unfortunately not so with the after market); grips and chromed brake pedal. Happy with the free Vivid Black - Had it now 8 months and love it. Had to wrestle with it to begin with - counter steering is helpful - to say the least.
Interested to hear you say how comfortable you are as I'm the same height, but feel if I was several inches shorter, it might be more comfortable.

Test rode one yesterday, I’m not a Harley fan and I don’t like cruisers, but I’m now hooked! Awesome bike with stunning presence and the way it makes you feel when you’re riding it is indescribable! The biggest downside would be trying to run one in the UK given our crap weather! Not every time you come in from a ride do you want to have to wash and polish your bike if it’s got wet, you’d have no choice with the fat boy, I’m sure it would very quickly show up a lack of tlc with chrome staring to corrode. Owning one would be more than owning a motorcycle, it would be a lifestyle choice!

Great vid as usual gents well done 👏🏻 I think the switch to shiny chrome from the satin is the right move and the grey and black two tone looks superb but I do think UK sales will be hurt this year. Not only from the price increases but the fact that you can’t even fit a set of slip ons to most of the softails now and who knows how long it will take the exhaust manufacturers and tuners to make it possible. I still have both my 2019 Fatboy (6.5k-miles) and Breakout (11.5k-miles). It’s good to see that the style of the FB hasn’t changed other than going from satin chrome to regular chrome on some surfaces. Too bad H-D dropped the Breakout model just like it did with the V-Rod. IDK, I still love riding both.🍻😎

No that seat was too fat and pushes you forward. Standard seat is better and after a while it compresses to give you more room. Id give it a while before changing it in case you find it ok

    Hello gents
I realize I am a little late to the party, but I was hoping to get your thoughts on what the FB is like to ride?
I am current torn between a Road King Special and a Fat Boy. I took the RKS out for an extended ride and was blown away, but I've only been on a very short ride on the FB to date. I found the handling of the FB took a lot more getting used to.
Would you recommend going out for an extended ride on the FB, or sticking with my first love, which is currently the RKS.
    Thank you chaps.

    • @MrDarcy-OlMan

They’re both great bikes so that’s a good start!
RKS if you do longer tours because it’s stable at speed and has the luggage capacity etc. Fat Boy needs manhandling but that’s it’s charm; like riding a bull. Definitely have a longer testride if you can.
