I'll always have love for Paul. Knew him back when we were in 8th grade. Became friends in HS and hung out in the same clique. Went to his house on several occasions to skate after school, took the bus together. Lost contact when he left mid sophmore year to do Home schooling. And I stopped skating. He was WAAAAAAY better than me but never acted like it. He was always uplifting and encouraging. Very down to earth dude.
Get Atiba an interview, he has been there for so much skateboarding over the years

Yesterday was one of the best days I'm my life. First my third daughter was born and then to top that off p rod is the first guest back in the studio, man am I happy right now. just finishing the episode now and had to say this

There’s a certain level of respect you can just feel in this episode that they have for Paul. And for good reason. He’s one of the best to ever do it and has helped so many others careers flourish. Respect to Paul !

Man watching Dubs get excited when Paul’s parts were going off at all the valley spots was really something special to watch. Got me hyped. Such a good call having Paul back in the studio for another Stop and Chat. This show is constantly evolving you guys stay killing it.
It’s amazing how the stop and chat filled the void of the normal show for so long without missing a beat. I’m just amazed at how much having someone back in studio could push the show even further. This episode sparked me harder than I’ve been sparked in a while.

I was surprised to see Paul jumping down stairs again too! The Wayne story reminds me when a few years ago I was finishing up a studio build while Travis Scott was recording verses for the song Watch. Literally working in between his takes.
Speaking on what Paul was saying, I bought Zoo York's State of Mind video and saw Brandon Westgate at a Maloof cup signing and had brought it up and he was like "you actually bought the video" I told him hell yeah. 🤙

When I first got into skating it was around 2007. I got EA Skate for Xbox 360 and for me that was the first time I’d really heard of and come across Paul Rodriguez. I never knew that Nike was associated with skateboarding and that there was such thing as Nike SB. The story line of EA Skate was a great introduction to P Rod for me and I really liked his style and remember doing his trick on the hubba, I believe it was the Nollie Tre to FS Crook and for me ever since then I’ve been a huge fan of his and taken so much inspiration, thank you Paul 🙌🏻

Had to comment as a history movie guy Master and Commander the Far Side of the World is one the best films ever. It’s attention to historical detail will go over the heads of most audiences but the fact that the detector still held onto his vision makes it great. It’s a yearly rewatch for me.

I like that they got into asking about his part in Selena. As a kid that listened to my parents music and discovered skating it's crazy seeing P-Rod got to be in the show. I really would like to meet him someday.
