You guys are wrong for throwing shade at radrat, he’s done nothing but support the skate community and go in depth about skateboard history. I think you owe it to him to actually watch his video.
Agreed.
I watched his original video, "Does Chris Haslam CHEAT at laser flips?" Friggin clickbait garbage lol it really doesn't matter. 9 club is right.
@@randybobandy6020 Chris Haslam does do lasers differently so it's fair game to at least question if it's a cheat or not
But he "goes in depth" about his own vision of skateboarding history... He talked about Gino Ianucci being overrated, downplays Girl and Chocolates dominance in the 90's, early 00's - Sorry, after those episodes (can't remember which ones) I lost respect for the rat
And you are wrong about writing this comment for Radrat, if this Video is about Haslam.
yall are wrong for dissing rad rat, pay respect to him he's the man.
No one even said his name, it was more of a conversation about how there's always "that guy" online who feels the need to critique something
@@TheGhostOfFredZeppelin they litterly said he was a dork bro
@@districtbruh5742 Oh wow, they called some random guy on the internet a dork, what a catastrophe... Everyone's a dork sometimes, who cares? I'd understand if they really laid into him and called him out by name and kept calling him nasty names or whatever but they didn't, why are people so butthurt over one of the most tame "insults" you could ever use?
@@TheGhostOfFredZeppelin it was pretty obvious they were talking about him and his video he made years ago.
@@TheGhostOfFredZeppelin it's not about the severity of the insult, it's the fact that they called him that for no reason, and the claim they made about him being one of those guys who's a trick stickler is completely untrue if you actually watch the video that they definitely did not. He didn't say he was cheating lazer flips he said he was using an alternate technique and Haslam even agreed that he did it a different way too
Y’all wrong for attacking rad rat for no reason he has contributed so much to the skate community
Plus they were wrong and Rad Rat was right...Haslam admitted it
Lmao sure kids, he's contributed just as much as actual professional skaters, sure. Also "attacking"? 😂 They never even said his name, they just said asking whether or not Haslam cheats at lasers is dorky, holy shit. They also said "who cares"? 🤣 What a vicious attack, whoa boy, call the police.
@@FPSBloodlust Noone said it was a competition dude, that's all you. Also, he has made countless videos documenting very obscure skate history for millions of people to see, which would have otherwise been lost. Dude knows his stuff and does crazy research.
@@mateosebastian8555 at what point did I say anything was a competition? My point being that you're all big mad about a video of his getting called dorky, even though the video literally determines that style is, in fact, style. WHAT A CONTRIBUTION TO SKATEBOARDING. Totally a great reason to cry in a Nine Club comment section about contributions and "attacks". Y'all are so weird
@@mateosebastian8555 if he stuck to "documenting obscure skate history", people wouldn't be calling a pointless clickbait video he made dorky too. It's not a "competition" at all 😂 I'm not the one bringing "contributions to skateboarding" into this, you weirdos are. Again, on a video created by professional skaters interviewing another professional skater that's also an absolute legend, that's why it's weird to mention "contributions to skateboarding" just because they said the guy made a dorky video. Good god. The drama. Like you guys understand that, right? Nobody "attacked" his contributions to skateboarding, they said one particular contribution was dorky af, and didn't mention him by name. It's not like they eviscerated his whole channel or attacked him personally. That's why it's silly to bring up said contributions, particularly on a video made by people who have contributed quite a bit more to skating themselves. It's just strange as hell, immature, dramatic, nonsensical. You're here because the guy's pride got hurt, and he made a response video. Zero critical thinking.
Shoutout to the all RadRat fans coming here after his response video
Add a time stamp for them talking about Rad Rat man.
I've actually never heard of these clowns, looks like a toxic podcast
@@huesos_azules lmao, sure kid

@@DrDustan says kid who doesn't skate
Radrat's video concludes in defending Chris and saying, no, he isn't cheating. Rat has only ever made positive videos, and he paid so much respect to Haslmam, your takes are so painfully out of touch. You could say he used clickbait, but even then it was mild - And he answered the question in a positive way, with trick breakdown and everything. Watch the video on air.
I guess they didn't even watch his vid

Agreed. He is a positive force for skateboarding on RUclips. Name-calling was not necessary.
Kelly calling someone a “dork” is peak irony.
hilarious
Very disappointed with you guys and not doing your research by actually watching the video radrat made, especially Kelly calling him a dork like your the last person that can call someone a dork
Are people really that upset about the word "dork"?
@@TheGhostOfFredZeppelin no they're upset about the cool guy, better than type of behavior by the 9 club. Towards a guy who's done nothing but positive things for skating, and is a small fish.
@@Throawei Stop projecting my dude, Kelly called him a dork and that's that. You're just upset that they criticized someone you like and you probably realized you were more upset than you should be and now you're trying to justify that overreaction by saying that they think they're better than everyone else. It's really not a big deal, people on here are acting like they doxxed him, threatened his family and told him to kill himself or something.
@@TheGhostOfFredZeppelin I think the issue is they're responding in a way that suggests they never watched the video in the first place. To give a response like they did is out of touch.
@@NeonMacabre Exactly, none of them except probably Haslam has seen the video. Still people are reacting to what they said as if they all watched the video, heard all of Radrat's arguments, the fact that he said that it wasn't really cheating but just a different technique, and still dismissed him as a dork. Which isn't the case.
They reacted to the sentence "Chris Haslam cheats on his switch lazer flips", it basically has nothing to do with Radrat or what he said in the video. It's about the notion that Haslam would be "cheating" and somebody made a video about it.
i've been enjoying you guys but a little less shit-talk on people who also cover skateboarding on youtube would be great. look into a mirror now and again, feel the grass outside, it could be helpful!
Man I sure love the 9 club I hope they don’t randomly attack my favorite skate RUclipsr this episode

And badmouth him about a video *title* nonetheless. I don't think they watched his video lol

RadRat is a national treasure
You guys are being so obtuse about the Lazer flip thing. Like it's a very valid question to ask if using a different method to flip the board is still the same trick. If you'd watch the actual video you might understand the actual point
I love how the hosts call Rat Rat a dork for asking if Haslam is doing a different trick, then Haslak explains how he does them differently and they go “ohhh” as in, that is different and could very well be a different trick.
Dropped the ball on this one.

Loved how he mentioned Daewon and him would have a comp who could do a blunt tre flip first at demos. REWIND to 2009 at a DVS demo at academy skatepark in CT, Im sitting on the a 10 ft quarter pipe no one's skating and Daewon cruises across the skate park first try does blunt 360 flip out next to me sitting on the coping. In the age of social media having a guy like Haslam is refreshing. He never sold out and is always just himself with his own unique style. Its crazy to me that one of my favorite skaters as a kid doesn't have sponsors anymore for no reason. Seems like skate companies are cutthroat once you reach a certain age bc of how marketing works.
