Do you think the new BC with the trail front end will handle as good as the 137 mxz on trail? I’m having a hard time deciding which to go with. I don’t go off trail much at all but I like getting the skis in the air over bumps and knolls and I think the BC would be a lot of fun and feel like a lighter sled. I Just worry it’s too long or won’t be enjoyable on trail. Any advice? Thanks
Yep. Also thinking it will launch better corner to corner because of the added track footprint in the 146. If you search our youtube, I suggest watching our review on the Backcountry last year as it will answer your questions. The BC is a fantastic do-it-all sled. Cheers, Mike
Ice scratchers studs glovebox extension bar pad Garmin GPS linq fuel caddy / baggage and medium windshield is all I need
Thats a good list!
last year I missed sledding due to work, this year due to weather. Thanks guys for keeping me sane this year and hoping to meet up next year!
Our pleasure!
Jessie, what is that pole sticking up from your rear grab bar? Also, SD just came out with a gps module for the 10.25 display. Do you think that will keep me from needing a Garmin GPS?
Hey Andrew! That pole is for the GoPro to attach. The module really doesn't have a bearing on needing the Garmin. With or without the module it still requires a phone connection for full trail mapping and navigation. All the gps module will do (without connecting your phone with the cord) is show you your location, basic map (not trails), and draw a bread crumb of your route. Hope that helps. Cheers, Jesse
Why does the bodywork say Renegade not MXZ? I thought for ‘24 Renegade’s were all 4 strokes?
Hey Frank. Good eye! I changed the sticker as a joke earlier this season. Check out this video - ruclips.net/user/shortsv5YM8OVANs8?si=TFyj3ljRA0GOU-GF
A pop Jessie 😂, with all seriousness I would love a garmin but unfortunately no more trail maps for Ontario!! 😢
Yup. That's why I use an old version of trakmaps lol. Also.. I would use the garmin regardless for the Backcountry riding and for quebec and other provinces. By the way.. my name is Jesse not Jessie 😅
@@sledaddicz sorry Jesse
hey guys i know season is mostly over now. We have had three different rollerski setups start losing the bolt out of the spindle. all had loctight on them. so please be mindful of this and keep a eye on them.
Hey Chris! Thanks for letting us know. I've never seen that happen. Just checked my rollerski's last week with over 20,000 kms on them and they are still good and the bolt hasn't backed out. Cheers, Jesse
Handlebar bag
That's a good one!
