A great video Betty and insight into the ride and all for good causes. I liked how the organizer spoke and your footage combined carried us through beautifully. I've been thinking more and more of building up some kit for riding. I found this video inspirational. Many thanks - have a great weekend. Mark
Thank you Mark, it’s really lovely to hear what you thought, it’s the first documentary type video I’ve tried creating. Was good fun following the riders around the route. Have you done much bikepacking yourself? Hope you’ve had a great weekend. All the best Betty
@@TheGirlGoneNomad A pleasure Betty. Well, you did brilliantly on the docu front. It flowed! Me? I've cycled my whole life - god knows how far but no bike-packing as such. It's on my mind. Have a cool week ahead.
@@WyeExplorer Thanks Mark, sounds like you’ve always had an affinity with your bike, think you’d love the flow of bikepacking. Currently in a tent in Scotland with the bike, bit damp here, but still a big advocate for it! Have a great week Mark! When I’m back will be sitting down with a cuppa to catch up on your recent ventures.
@@TheGirlGoneNomad A pleasure betty. Yeah, I have been looking at kit - I know I'd enjoy it. All the best up in Scotland - sounds like April is alive and well up there. My vids? Well, short at present on account of training the leg but reasonable. In your own time.
@@WyeExplorer April was certainly living up experience, rain and wind one minute, sunshine the next. Just got back, will enjoy catching up with your adventures with a cuppa in the morning. All the best, Betty
@@TheGirlGoneNomad yeah I’ve done a lot of them, absolutely love the vibe and the Lakes. Sadly I’m missing this year as I’m on the HT550. Would love to have been back again! I’m in the lakes most weekends to be fair, but it isn’t the same as Jenneide. This year sounds amazing from what I’ve heard! But yeah, very nicely put together, you should be proud!
@@AllenBoardman Oh nice, had a gander at the HT550 on Bikepacking.com, looks like an epic route, will it be your first? Good time of year too, just before the midges come out! Sounds like you are a seasoned Jennrider, great to be up in the Lakes often with the bike. Do you have a favourite area to go? Thanks Allen, really appreciate your kind comments.
@@TheGirlGoneNomad it will be my first official attempt. I’ve just come back from doing the southern loop. Had snow, wind and sunshine. I’ve not done many of them, but since 2019 I’ve tried not to miss a single one. It’s just unfortunate I’ve signed up to something else this year.
Really enjoyed this. Love that you captured the fun easy going vibe of the event even in the rain and the beautiful lake district scenes. Great event for a great cause. Bravo 😊
Ah nice, which event did you do? You should definitely come try the Summer Jennride! Yer it’s a really great cause, Rich does a fantastic job bringing everyone together.

I enjoyed seeing a load of my buddies playing out in the rain. Gutted I missed this. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Allen, really glad you enjoyed it! I’ve seen you’ve done the Summer Jennride before from your videos, will you be back this year?

It’s was a great event wasn’t it! Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time come rain and shine. Will we be seeing you on the Summer Jennride?
@@TheGirlGoneNomad almost certainly!
Wow looks so much fun. I done my first gravel bike event up in scotland last summer. Will look out for the next event. Great charity too!

Very nice video of the event. You really captured it.
Thanks Seth, first kind of video I’ve done like this so really appreciate your kind words!
