Dr. Kantharaj seems very sensible. Expecting the current generation to follow the traditions of previous generations is unrealistic. It's like asking people to use horse-drawn wagons in modern society. As technology advances, people evolve with it, and there's no stopping this progress.

What he told is 100% correct. Cinema is outdated. If you compare the number of movies released in 1980s and 1990s, the cinema today is totally outdated. Not many in terms of numbers. One big movie per month 😂😂😂😂. 12 movies per year. In that 6 are pan Indian movies 😂😂😂😂. Cinema’s end story will be written in next decade. Once Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay and Ajith retire or die, Tamil cinema is dead. These heroes themselves are responsible for that situation. They only wanted their movie to run, now, after they are gone, people will not want to watch any movies. They never encouraged Tamil movies to live longer. Pathetic situation. Cinema is a golden egg laying goose. But these 4 heroes, killed it by taking all the profits for next 10 years. 😂😂😂😂

I think Rajinikanth still didn’t come out of his inferiority complex. Thats why he is attending everywhere. He feels still insecure about his success I guess. At 40, we can understand. At 73, it’s too immature.
