Tbh man he does need buffs a little rework. Sometimes his combos send people out infront of him and he can’t touch them. I feel like his trackers should be hitscan too or get rid of trackers all together

@@Phasmania it’s definitely buggy, I think it could be fixed with a slight lunge for his attacks. He’s also really janky in general. If they don’t plan on making changes though I’d at least hope for a health increase if the inconsistencies are intentional
Spidey absolutely does not need buffs, if anything I'd take away one of his web swing charges. The problem is with melee in this game, unlike ow there is no backwards moving penalty so as soon as someone is out of your range on melee there's no catching them without mobility cooldowns. There needs to be a 5-10% movement speed decrease moving backwards, that way melee hero aren't so ass to play without cooldowns.
Honestly all the enemy team has to do is pick a 3rd support or have a Magneto that looks behind for a sec to shield the guy getting sticky'd. That shuts down Spidey hard. Then it becomes a regular game where Spidey has to either bait out cooldowns or has to dive with his team to get result. So I don't think he's broken.

They need to tune down Spider-Man’s movement and venoms survivability or just add a shit ton more CC like Overwatch 1 had

I think what should be noted is the Venom going 30/1 as well. That hero is just completely disgusting and allows Spiderman to snowball as well. There's just no chance of a team winning against a good venom/spiderman combo.
It´s very possible that they will nerf Spider-man swinging speed and the venom synergy abilitiy. Being able to one shot and run across the map in half a second is INSANE
I wonder how this game will play in a year when the player base levels up. Should be interesting to see. Wasnt sure before but after seeing your gameplay gonna try this out

Therefor i think that spidey is not busted. if you HAVE to nerf spidey reduce either his HP or his webshooters (amount or cooldown) but it's finally a high risk high reward. Where when you use all of your abilities you can assure a kill Where if you look at genji you can maybe get the enemies cooldown off. :c

Spider-Man is in a great spot, he isn't broken If you know what you're doing and know how to play a character, of course it will be good in your hands. After using E, do you usually left click > uppercut (F)? Or do you usually E > uppercut (F)? I find that the E > left click > uppercut (F) usually misses the F so I've been just doing E > F, but that dmg feels weak. Thoughts?
This is awesome, Spiderman is one of the few chars I haven't played but looking forward to finally learning em and probably pissing off teammates for sucking at first. My best has been 37-0 as Witch but that's not nearly as impressive a feat.
spiderman is basically old doomfist after you learn all the combos you just fly in from the sky too fast that where no one can react to you, then try to 1shot their support and dip and if you fail to 1shot you have the best mobility skill in the game to escape and reset. 7 seconds later you go and do it again. old doomfist like playstyles dont belong in PvP games and they should straight up rework spiderman because if they nerf it it would instantly make him trash and unusable.
Na, I think you are just salty about it... Ive been playing TF2 for years and there are a couple of classes who can do that with enough skill (soldier and demo, scouts even), and the game works fine even when in TF2 there are almost no CC abilities. In this game there are plenty of characters that can click a button to stunt you for a couple seconds or heal/protect the target before you are able to finish a combo, so I'm pretty sure that people will get better at countering spidey with some more time and experience in the game. A couple nerfs to its momentum and web slinging acceleration could be good though.
It just proves that blizzard devs are just dumb, they wanted this exact thing to happen and they think it will only happen if OW2 is 5v5. Marvel rivals shows that balancing difference plays a role.

Spiderman needs his combo nerfed. It doesn't take that much mechanical skill to pull off his one shot, I see Spiderman players in silver and gold able to pull it off consistently.
I didn't know venom team up give Spiderman damage reduction. But he's gonna need it tho cus punisher can just two shot him with a shot gun and he's dead.
I’ve only played 1 game as Spider-Man so I have no clue, but to me it felt like when the enemy has the tracker web thing (the ranged web attack) on them it shows up (since then the web auto aims to them, whereas without the tracker web on them the enemy would get pulled towards you and wouldn’t auto aim so the indicator doesn’t show up)
Thanks for the replies. Yeah I thought it was the case that it shows up after putting a tracker on an enemy, but it just doesn't show up for me. I've tried different ranges too, no luck.

He he’s probably the most balanced hero. I just say his recharge rate on his Web Shooters should be faster, that’s it.

Its overwatch that never added acceleration to character movement.

...How do you get that indicator for your E to show up? That would make hitting that skill a lot easier (for example 2:46 on Iron Man)

its an automatic feature. It shows up when you have your webtracer on your target and you are within range to use it.
Yeah it pops up after hitting an enemy with the web secondary fire
Once they're tagged it'll show a prompt for your to use your e on them
