Hey bud! Yeah, it looks dope. Unfortunately I already had to stop building because the set was missing a key piece which were the white belts to make the contraption work. If I continued building, it would have been such a pain to take a part that it wouldn’t be worth it. Now I got to wait for it to arrive in the mail. As for a time-lapse video, I realized overtime that it wasn’t something I enjoyed doing. I think it mainly has to do with the fact that I currently have a poor work space with lack of lighting for something like that. When I buy my house in a few months, I’d most likely consider doing it again. I know for a fact other RUclipsrs have done a time lapse on this set if you’re interested in checking them out!
Thanks for sharing the video! I noticed he had the small shite box in his bag 1 that I am missing, which caused me to stop my build. It should arrive soon for me to continue. Looks so nice overall, the way he demonstrated his build.
That’s awesome! I think the only thing I notice was off is that the mirrors are missing. I’m so bummed because I realized the set didn’t come with 2 pieces I need to continue so I had to place an order for them to be shipped to me. So basically I can’t finish now until next week. It’s a bummer.
AWWWWW MAN!!!! This set it one I want sooooo bad, even though the stickers look like a nightmare - but i knew that with all the detail, they couldn't possibly print them all! - but I'm waiting for a double points or something - but it WILL BE MINE at some point! Definitely curious how long it takes for you to build! I've only built 4 Technic sets thus far, and have one in my backlog - but they always take me forever, I always double checking everything!
It looks like it’ll be a fantastic build for sure. I’m gonna have to take my time with the stickers for sure. Gotta make them perfect. Overall seems like it’ll be a beauty. It’ll be perfect for double VIP points as well, so good idea!
I picked mine up the day it was released, put together the first bag Saturday, bags 2 & 3 on Sunday and 4 & 5 on Monday. Was a pretty crazy build, although only my second big Technic set other than the Porsche RSR and the other big build I’ve done is the UCS A-Wing. I know the price is pretty high, but the build for me at least was pretty intense, but it looks so damn good once it’s finished.
Hey, thanks for telling me this! I’m glad to hear it’s a bit intense to build, which I actually like. I unfortunately had to stop my build during bag one because it was missing the white belts (rubber bands) so LEGO is sending me new ones. I look forward to building it when it arrives and then reviewing it. Price is high but it looks stunning based off pictures I’ve seen. Thanks again for sharing this!
@@MKBRICKS they came in a small white box, I can’t remember if they were in the bags or separate. Missing pieces sucks though, good that Lego is replacing them.
Yeah, they usually come in a white box. Searched all bad and the box for it. Nothing. But yeah, I’m glad LEGO was willing to work with me on it. Missing pieces really are an awful thing, haha.
It looks amazing! I was actually missing a piece so I had to stop my build, . The piece arrived yesterday so I’ll continue it. Is it supposed to be missing mirrors since it’s a race edition? Also, I can’t imagine it’s speed, haha.
@@MKBRICKS all bikes have no mirrors on the race track. And it looks better without! Only on regular streets you need to have them but the M version is mainly used for track days. It is insane fast! Like a sidewinder ;-)

My friend actually has the bike that this set is based on in his shed. The set looks very accurate to the real thing

They said about 5 days so it’s not awful. I’ll just have to grab some older sets I have and review them. That or just chat about something else, haha.

Love the set - just not the sticker! I drove the version before! This is the race edition - no mirrors!
