oppie47, many thanks for this great cycle! And special thanks for loading whole works in one piece each rather than splitting into separate movements or even shorter pieces. By the way, haven't you mistaken the numbering? You seem to have left out the sonata in F, K. 547, but that's a later work than K. 526, so this one should be No. 34.
Hmm.... Mozart did not have "his best years". The problem is: He died before he could compose, what he had in mind and was working on. We know that he wrestled with the woodwind - and as the clarinettes were hardly invented - and very few could play them. That is me a constant source of discontend: He was in the bloody middle of something when he died! So no - he wasn't devine; if he had been then God would have let him finish what he was doing.
Merveilleux, ô combien merveilleux andante !
what a great recording. i love the clarity of the fortepiano, especially in the lower regions. and very nicely tuning as well ;-)
Amazing recording the piano sounds unusual very amusing
surely the best violin sonata among all his violin sonatas, a balanced and delightful work composed during his best years
a fine performance of this delightful piece by mozart - thanks oppie

That’s for violin and piano.
I hate fortepiano too! but the clarity and light bass are nice. I've found the Steinway a bit heavy for these sonatas.
